"Hey, I wasn't the one being a whore on stage!"
Kane rolled his eyes, trying to get the bartender's attention. "Why am I friends with you?"

Ean casts a glance down the bar and notes a few of the faces and then looks back to Cassie, “I’d say. . . There are a few hot guys here, Cassie, what do you say we-“
Cassie cuts him a glare, “f you’re trying to set me up with someone, drop it.”
Ean snickers, “What? No, I’m talking about me.”
Cassie blinks, “Oh- Ohh. . . Right, sorry.” She smirks, “If that’s how you want to spend the night, be my guest.”
"Anyway, did you see that chick in the audience?"
"Hm? Oh, uh, yeah." He said, trying to feign interest. He never found quite the right moment to tell them that girls weren't exactly his bag, and he wasn't about to do it in a crowded bar. "Pretty thing, huh?"
"Think I'm gonna go find her. You're like, chill here, right?"
"Go get her, Jackie-boy."
Kane watched Jackie leave, sighing a bit as he ordered a beer, putting it on Jackie's tab to mess with him a little bit in return for leaving him.
Kane lazily sipped his drink, eyes scanning the crowd for someone he wasn't currently arguing with.
Kane caught sight of someone approaching from the corner of his eye, turning to look at them. He looked them over, raising an eyebrow, recognizing him from the band who played that other set.
Kane gave a soft hum of acknowledgment. "You're from that thrash trash band, yeah? Yelling Sheep or some shit like that?"
Kane shrugged a little, starting to run through all the sour notes and missed cues. "It's whatever."
"At least you're self aware." He said, taking another sip.
"Maybe just a little." He said, glancing around to make sure none of his bandmates were around- they never let him live anything down. "Could I buy you a drink?"
"…You pull it off." He said, going to get the bartender's attention again. "What's your poison, man?"
"Dunno. You just do." He said before ordering.
Kane froze for a moment, cheeks flushed.
"Nothing, why?" He asked, trying to quickly recover as the bartender came back over with Ean's drink. "What's your name again?"
"Kane. Kane Carter." He said, smiling sweetly.
He smiled, passing him the drink. "Here ya go, man."
