"They kill your parents and family off so that you're an orphan. Then they make it seem like they're going to take you somewhere you'll be safe. In reality, it's because you have more than three powers and they want to experiment on you. No one's ever escaped."

In this modern day, it is common for people to have powers. Usually it's one or two, sometimes three. But five? It doesn't happen. Except it has. Multiple times. But no one knows. Eventually, the child's family will end up dying of unknown causes. The child will be taken in by an organisation who 'take care of powered children'. They really experiment endlessly on the child to see why they have so many powers.
No one's ever escaped. Except for a group of five. Then the group got reduced to a pair in the escape. For months, the pair has been on the run. During their time at the organisation and being on the run together, the pair fell in love.

This is going to be a straight RP for the sake of it.

Appearance: If her family was still alive, Flynn would be told that she looks exactly like her mother Ariana did when she was Flynn's age. Flynn has waist length straight red (red not orange) hair. It is typically styled in a loose braid. Her eyes are a piercing green And reflect the burning fire in her heart. She has slightly tanned skin that id covered in freckles, many being on her face.
Style: Flynn has no set style, but will wear what is available if it is in her size.
Personality: If Flynn has a goal, she will be determined. She is loyal and fierce. When needed, she is kind and understanding.

Background: Flynn was the younger of two. As a child, she was close to her brother Charlie, who was one year her senior. Her parents were a little terrified of her, since she showed signs of her powers at a very young age. When she was 9, Flynn's house was burned down by the organisation. People blamed her because they knew of her power of fire. She was taken in by the organisation, thinking that they were a safe haven for people like her. Then she found out what they did. Appearance: Long windy gray/black hair that reaches his shoulders and cups his face in greasy curls. His eyes are a sharp green but are rounded and kind-looking. He has a sharp, handsome complexion. He’s rather tall and skinny, with soft caramel skin.
Style: Usually he’ll wear something black leather, whether it’d be a jacket (which is usually the case) or a pair of pants. If it’s the jacket, his undershirt would be black, and he’d wear a simple jean/boot combo.
Personality: He is very simple and kind. He can keep a cool head and mind in a stressful environment. He is well put together and is in-touch with himself and his friends. Doesn’t let any emotion bring him down from helping others. Can be firm and commanding if he needs to.
Likes: He likes Chocolate Mochas and the yummy curry his mother used to make.
Dislikes: He dislikes being alone, or being forced to use his magic.
Background: His Mind Reading was developed first, which made many many things go awry in his former home. He read the mind of his father, who was secretly a brothel owner. He was a filthy, filthy man and the young Floyd told his mother of this. It lead to a divorce, which made Floyd’s father incredibly upset. He stole away Floyd and abused him for years. The police found his father after ten years. He was killed in a death sentence and Floyd’s mother had supposedly committed suicide in that time span.
Powers: Mind Reading (can easily read other people’s memories/thoughts), Light Manipulation, Healing, Time Freezing.

Flynn, stuck in a nightmare, curled closer next to Floyd, shivering slightly. In the dream, her parents had turned on her and became monsters. When she had gotten away from them in a closed room, she backed into something. Whipping around, it was her brother Charlie. But he was floating. Looking up, he was hanging by a noose. Flynn woke up, screaming "Revenez à moi!"

Floyd stirred out of his sleep, seizing her by her arms, softly telling her to calm down. He squeezed her in the hug, his chest heaving. This is the third nightmare she’s had in a row. He was really starting to get tired of not getting sleep with her at his side.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," Flynn whispered over and over, her throat dry, her voice cracking. She knew how Floyd felt, but she couldn't help it. The nightmares followed her into sleep.

Floyd relaxed slowly into the bed again, sighing deeply. “That’s okay. Don’t apologize. You can’t help it.” He hugged her close again.

"I want my family back," Flynn croaked. "My friends. My school. My life. And Charlie. If nothing else, Charlie."
