"Awww. Angelic innocence still clinging to you?" Nathaniel kissed him again.

"hmm, I can say the same about you, considering you didn't know about it until then." He smiled into the kiss
Nathaniel rolled his eyes. "I got kicked out when I was like, eight years old. Gimme a break."
"FIne, fine. I'll let you have this one." He kissed Nathaniel's cheek
Nathaniel grinned and leaned into the kiss. "I love you~"
"Hm, I love you too my angel." V murmured against nathaniel's neck
"We should probably wake Urielle soon." Nathaniel murmured, laying his head against V's shoulder.
He nodded "he needs all the sleep he can get. but yeah, we should." as much as he didn't want to get up, they couldn't just stay there forever
"How're you feeling?" He asked, shifting his gaze back up to V.
"I'm doing good, everything still hurts a bit but I'll be ok." He said softly, not wanting worry Nathaniel
Nathaniel nodded and relaxed a bit. "That's good… you should have some tea too. It helps."
He smiled at his angel and nodded "I'll make another cup later when we have breakfast."
"Alrighty, love." Nathaniel yawned again, huddling closer. "I love you."
"hm, more than sleep?" He asked with a smile, lovingly stroking Nathaniel's hair
"Mhmm… so much more than sleep…" He leaned into V's hand contentedly.
"mmm, really? Cuz you're falling asleep in my arms, love." He kissed him gently before tucking Nathaniel under his chin "sleep my angel, it's still a bit early."
"Sleeping in your arms is the best kind of sleep…" Nathaniel murmured, starting to nod off.
He laughed softly "just like when we were kids? Yeah." He kissed his head "sleep my beautiful angel."
"Mmmmm…" Nathaniel soon fell asleep, finally relaxing more.
V watched him sleep for a bit, not wanting to drift off just yet. He wished things were different. That both he and Nathaniel were back in heaven. Maybe they would've ended up together no matter what had happened, they were closer than normal friends when they were kids after all. With a small sigh, he cast the thought aside and smiled at Nathaniel. They were together now, even after all the hardship and separation
Nathaniel didn't sleep for much longer, much as he wanted to. He woke up after about an hour with a yawn, nuzzling against V's chest as he whined about having to be awake.
"I know lovely angel but we have to get up." He kissed his head and shifted so his wings wouldn't hurt as much when he got up
"But I wanna sleeeeep…" Nathaniel kept whining as V dragged him up, wincing a bit when his wings were jostled.
"you always want to sleep." V argued teasingly. He gently place a hand over Nathaniel's wings to check for any open wounds "anything hurt?"
Nathaniel winced again. "Yeah…" There was still a sizable nick in his wing from the knife, which luckily wasn't actively bleeding.
V sighed softly "I'll see what I can find to help with that once we finish breakfast." He said, slowly standing up "ready for breakfast?"
"I guess so…" Nathaniel reluctantly stood and held V's hand, his wings dragging on the floor.
He kissed nathaniel's hand and led him to the kitchen "what are you in the mood for?" he asked, careful to keep his voice down so to not disturb urielle
"Mm…. bagel." Nathaniel let V lead him, rubbing tiredly at his eyes with his free hand.
V rolled his eyes playfully "ah of course. Be glad I stocked up." He kissed his head and headed over to the counter to start breakfast
