“If I asked you to kiss me now… would you?” He perked up slightly, back straightening.

Kasey grinned over at him, setting her things in the sink before she leaned against the wall. “Maybe. If you ask nicely.”
Barry exhaled slowly and did his best to compose himself. "Dear girlfriend of mine," he deadpanned in the most nonchalant tone he could muster, "Would you please deem me worthy of a kiss from your godly lips?"

Kasey coughed, hiding a smile behind her hand as she rubbed her nose. She slowly walked over to Barry and stood up on her toes. Leaning towards him, she made as if to kiss him on the lips, but changed course at the last second to kiss his cheek.
“There. I kissed you,” she said with a smile when she pulled away.
Barry didn't let Kasey finish her sentence. He just grabbed her by the front of her shirt, pulled her forward, and crushed his lips against hers, arms winding around her torso.

Kasey gasped as she was yanked toward him. She blinked in surprise a couple of times before letting herself melt against his lips and in his arms. Of course she'd been expecting retaliation for the teasing, but she hadn't expected something so… dominating, for lack of a better term.
"Finally," Barry breathed against her lips, stealing desperate, almost hungry kisses. "See what you've done to me, Kase?"

Kasey kissed him back, wrapping her arms around his neck. "I do see…" she murmured against his lips. "Gosh, Barr…"
He eased into the kiss, barely allowing her to come up for air. "You know you love it….." he whispered, tightening his hold on her ever so slightly.

You know I do… she almost breathed back. And she probably would have if she had been able to. As it was, she had focused all of her breath on the kiss, trying to make sure she was getting enough air that she could kiss him back.
Finally, he pulled away, resting his forehead atop hers. “That was long-overdue.”

Kasey smiled breathlessly and blinked up at him. "I know… Maybe I should make you wait more often," she teased.
Barry made a face, letting a small groan slip. “Don’t you dare.”

Kasey laughed a little and reached up to peck his lips. "I was just teasing, babe. I wasn't going to."
“You’d better not,” he grumbled, “Or else I’ll give you a taste of your own medicine.”

Kasey grinned up at him before pulling away slightly. “C’mon. Let’s do these dishes quickly. Then we’re free to do whatever we want.”
“Yeah, yeah,” he mumbled, leaning in for one more kiss.

Kasey smiled and took his hand to tug him into the kitchen. “Do you want to wash or dry?”
“I’ll wash,” he offered, reaching for a plate.

“Sounds good,” Kasey said, handing him a plate and the sponge. She moved to his other side to grab a dish towel so she could dry.
