"Sure, as long as said place isn't sketchy" she replied, laying down on the couch,.
"Oh!" she muttered, not taking the mock tones in her voice at all, "I'm sorry!" she replied, repeating it over again.
She blushed lightly, "Sorry, I'm stupid" she replied, a small smile coming across her face.
"Alrighty" she replied in a light, happy tone. "When are you picking me up again?" she asked.
"Six is amazing" she replied, smiling into the screen of her phone. "So, I'll see you then?" she asked, brushing a stray piece of hair behind her ear.
(Time skip?)
Aaliyah placed her last choice of a shirt on and settled down, like how it looked on her. She grabbed her purse, and took out her phone, looking at the time. "5:55" she mumbled to herself, going down to her door.
Evelyn parked her car in front of Aaliyah’s house. She let out a breath and turned her music off. Getting out of her car, she looked at it, dismayed. It wasn’t much, but it got you from point A to point B. She walked up towards Aaliyah’s door. She had needed to text her earlier to get the address because she hadn’t exactly remembered it last time she was here. Evelyn knocked on the door.
Aaliyah froze and a smile slipped across her face, "Coming!" she called, slipping on a hoodie and opening the door. "Hey" she breathed
She let her eyes roll up and down Evelyns' body, smiling as she did, "You look gorgeous" she complimented, laughing when they both said it at the same time.
"Yup!" she replied, taking a hold of her hand.
"Right" she laughed, taking hold of her hand again and stepping outside
Evelyn walked with Aaliyah to her car, opening her door and holding the umbrella over her as she got in. Once Aaliyah was in the car, Evelyn went over to the driver’s side and got in the car, putting the wet umbrella in the back seat. He hair got a little wet in the process. Evelyn turned to Aaliyah. “Ready to go?”
"Super ready" she replied, kissing Evelyn softly
She smiled against the kiss and soon broke it, "So, this place" she muttered
She laughed lightly, turning to face the front window.
"That's good" she replied, smiling brightly. It was an unusually busy day for it to be raining, but she checked the clock and concluded it rush hour, nodding her head in understanding.
