Sláine kept his hand on Eurion's face even when he moved to lock their gazes once more. His thumb stroked over the man's cheek, fingers feeling soft and familiar skin and contours that he would know blindfolded. Eurion was the beautiful one, if the prince had a say in the matter. He was the mystery of the darkness, the beauty of the night. His smiles were the brightest stars in the night sky and his eyes could rival that of the darkest depths of the darkest ocean. Even when Eurion spoke, Sláine had to take a moment to stare and admire the heated cheeks and the absolute gorgeous specimen of a man he managed to snag somehow just by being a target. After a moment of awed silence, he nudged Eurion's nose with his and stole a sweet kiss from his lips. His favorite lips. His favorite taste.
"Seadh, mo chridhe." Sláine brushed back some loose strands of hair from Eurion's face and stared at him fondly. "I know. But I'm fairly certain that enjoying a foreign festival more than any others doesn't look too good for a kingdom's prince." His free hand moved between them to idly trace over the lines of muscles along Eurion's stomach and chest, knuckles bumping over the expanse of skin that belonged all to him. His next kiss was more smile than kiss, and he settled their faces closer together just to be as close as physically possible. "I like to think she blessed us as a way to ensure that we'd be okay. Both for us, and for everything else. And maybe forgiveness for us crashing her party." He snickered and rubbed a thumb beneath Eurion's eye.
Sláine just couldn't stop touching him or looking at him. He had been so overwhelmed and happy when Eurion knocked some sense into him, then knocked him breathless with the intense surge of emotion and intensity as they reunited in the best way possible. Multiple times. Sláine didn't have the chance to just simply sit there and exist with the knowledge that he had his mate back, that he had a mate, that he could touch and kiss and fuck him whenever he wanted to once more. And truly whenever he wanted, because they no longer had to hide, no longer were unsure of where they stood with one another. He wanted to keep getting closer and closer, but was unsure if he wanted to tuck Eurion into him or be the one getting tucked away. "I was blessed far before the Eclipse gave me her star, though," the prince murmured. "That, I know."
