Turning at the sound of the door opening, Luke spotted the girl from yesterday. He waved, smiling. "Hey! You're… Calliope, right?"

"No, it's Kiera. Where'd you get Calliope from? That's such an odd name." *God, how did he know? I didn't tell him, did I? I don't think I did. No, of course I didn't. I haven't told anyone."

@PrettyLittlePyro

"No, I just heard someone calling you that. The principal, I think?" He shrugged. "Sorry. I'm bad at names."

Of course. Hercules would make sure someone heard. Dumb old fuck. "Oh, that must have been someone else. Couldn't have been me."

@PrettyLittlePyro

"Probably not," he agreed. "Sorry about that."

Phew. Dodged that bullet. "Anyway. Archery? Did you choose or get slotted into the subject. I didn't choose. What I would give to be doing art right now. Proper art, not just with my powers."

@PrettyLittlePyro

"I chose it." Luke grinned ruefully. "I know, weird, but I prefer action. But why are we in a classroom? I would've expected it to be outdoors." He made a face. "I'm just hoping that they don't try to teach us archer's theory or anything like that."

"They never do theory for sport. A lot of the time they're just too lazy to schedule us onto the oval or into the fields for sports. Besides, internet only works in the buildings, and they have to mark the rolls. It's annoying but I get why they do it: even though it's a boarding school people still skip."

@PrettyLittlePyro

"Thank god. I hate it when they make us do sports theory. Have you every done theory for golf? Or the history?" Luke shook his head with a rueful grin. "It sucked. And I can see why they would take role, but I really don't want to be stuck in a classroom. It's sufocating."

Calliope grabs a bow and quiver filled with arrows. "I might not choose to do archery but I've been told I'm quite good at it. The teacher might not be here yet but I can at least get my stuff together."

@PrettyLittlePyro

"Organization. I like it." Luke chuckled. He clenched his fists and popped his knuckles, before moving over to grab his own supplies. "I should probably do the same."

Calliope cocked an arrow in the bow, blue flames sprouting from her finger. She placed the flame on the tip of the arrow, then opened a window. Across the oval was the archery range. No one was there and no one was on the oval.
