"Saul," Farah said firmly, not even lifting her head. "It's alright."

Farah moved closer and slid her leg in between his.

She grinned into his shoulder. "Something funny?"

Farah smirked into his skin. "Oh?"

"What?" Her knee moved up the smallest bit.

Another inch or so. "What?" she repeated.

Her breath caught in her throat, and she stopped.

"And you're not–" she asked, getting interrupted by his kiss. Slowly, she slid her knee up just a bit more…

Farah smirked and went up even higher, brushing something on her thigh.

Farah tensed. "Saul, please. This isn't funny."
“ fine, no I haven't and I promise, we haven't done anything,” he said softly, letting his mind open “ check if you don't believe me “
Farah sighed and finally relaxed again. "Damn you," she muttered and shook her head.
“ gotcha didn't I?” he teased
Farah frowned. "You're not funny."
“ I'm sorry,” he sighed and pulled her closer
Farah relaxed. "You know how I feel about Luna."
“ sorry.. Just tryna tease like you do me”
"Yes, well, did you really believe I've been with ten other men?"
“ yes,” he answered placidly
"Dear gods, Saul, I'm not a whore," Farah muttered.
“ never said that, but your something that every man would want a piece of. Like a twenty out of ten. “ he mumbled and sat up
Farah sat up with him. “Do you want the honest truth?”
“ sure,”
Farah sighed quietly. “I’ve been with two other men. That’s it.”
“ thank you,”
“You’re welcome,” she murmured. “What about you?”
“ one other person but that was grade school”
"Oh?" Farah asked, looking curious. "Who was it?"
“ some chickflick
"You mean a fling?" she asked with amusement. "With who?"
Saul kept putting of the who part.
Farah noted his hesitance and frowned. "Are you hiding something?"
“ no! I'm not!”
"Then why won't you tell me who you were with?"
“ because I don't want to,”
"I would tell you," Farah remarked, arching her eyebrows as if to further prove her point.
“Really?”
"Indeed."
“ luna.” he whispered
Farah inhaled sharply. "Luna?"
" now you see why I wouldn't tell you."

Farah pursed her lips tightly. "Yes… I do."

Farah closed her eyes. "I understand… but it's the fact that she keeps finding her way into our conversations. That's what worries me, Saul. I don't want to even think about her when I'm near you. And I don't want you to be thinking of or worried about her when you're near me."

Farah sighed. "As do I. Eve is starting to have her way with me and make me abundantly tired."

Farah didn't have to be told twice. "Alright," she mumbled before slipping into a strange, dreamless sleep.

Farah barely stirred, getting a decent night's sleep for the first night since Aster Dell.
