She giggled, pressing close to him.

Lychan smiled and hugged Asa gently as to not hurt her wings "You're welcome"

She gave a happy sigh. For once in her life, she felt truly safe. She wasn't constantly afraid to be found out, and she could just be herself.

Lychan looked down at Asa who was sitting on his lap "Wanna go out in the forest? I know an amazing garden you would absolutely love"

"That would be amazing!" She smiled, giving him one last hug before she stood.

Lychan led Asa into the forest and to a garden that was filled with beautiful flowers that had never been seen to man "This is the wizard's garden. My family has protected it for millennia from humans"

Asa gasped slightly in awe.
"This is… beautiful."

"I go here when i need to focus and meditate or to gather spell ingredients which i replace with a new but when i take them" Lychan explained in a serene voice a smile on his face as he looked out at the garden

Asa nodded. Shyly, she took his hand in hers.
"It is a really good place to come meditate," she noted.

Lychan twined his fingers with Asa's whispering "Watashi no kichōna chīsana doragon" My precious little dragon

Asa leaned against his arm, smiling gently. She felt calm here, with him. She gently lifted their hands, kissing his.

Lychan put an arm around Asa and held her close to him "I will protect you and this garden until they day my body dies"

Asa blushed.
"T-Thank you. That means so much…" She smiled, holding back happy tears.

"It means a lot to me too" Lychan looked down his voice soft and a little sad he whispered "If only my dad believed that"

Asa looked up to him, giving his hand a squeeze. She didn't want him to be sad. She hugged him.

Lychan wrapped his arms around Asa a smile wanting to show but his tears tugged it down

Asa wiped a tear away, cupping his face in her hands.
