"Yeah, pretty much. Give something a go if it sounds interesting to you." Nathaniel shrugged.
"I can try my best." Nathaniel laughed softly. "I'm not sure we have very similar interests, though."
"Mhmm. What sort of thing would you like to try first?" Nathaniel asked.
"You could try reading? Or… some people like juggling, or yo-yo tricks, or card tricks… I dunno. I don't know you very well." Nathaniel shrugged.
"Maybe you'd like cooking or photography or archery? Really anything that sounds interesting to you."
"Eh… I suppose, but I wouldn't recommend doing it too much." Nathaniel laughed weakly. "People might get mad if you break their things."
"Why would I assume you'd break your own bones?" Nathaniel asked, confused and concerned.
Nathaniel sighed softly. "Carter, I barely know you, and generally I assume people don't like being in pain."
Nathaniel shrugged as well. "I've broken a lot of bones, but that's just because mine are fragile and I didn't have the safest upbringing, not because I'm reckless."
"Man, you gotta be careful… I definitely don't do anything that would require me to owe anyone money. I don't have any to begin with."
"Well, you could get a job. It's not too hard." Nathaniel replied, humming thoughtfully. "I just applied and did an interview and they hired me."
"Well, do that then, I guess. Not my business." Nathaniel shrugged. He looked around and yawned, growing tired.
"I dunno, it's getting darker outside." Nathaniel shrugged, looking up at the sky. "And I worked all day."
"Um… not really. I've been sleeping in this abandoned warehouse for a little while." Nathaniel replied sheepishly.
"I-I… um… sure, if that's what you want." Nathaniel replied softly. "You should sleep in your bed, though. I'm happy to sleep on the couch."
