"Ahaha…" She made a nervous noise, just thinking about the, uh, quite embarrassing conversation between her and an older girl. Not much older, but still. Basically, that girl was her lifeline between her, and, well life itself. Fortunately the last message she'd sent her was a meme video so… "Sure thing, short dude," she replied with an air of confidence that she didn't actually have, adopting a nickname from what Emanuel had said. Stephanie pulled out her phone and unlocked it, bringing it open to the texts with Lily. She'd written back. "YOU'RE LATE FOR PRACTICE IDIOT!!!" of course, Lily didn't mean to call her an idiot, like meaning it, but… oh crap, she'd forgotten the band. "sorry cant make it" was all she offered. "Just, uh, try not to break my phone please," Stephanie said as she held out her phone.
"Fonee… what a strange object…" Beta mused and moved to take the phone, very cautiously. "There are no buttons on it… how strange… perhaps…" they tapped on the screen and swiped and finally the keyboard popped up. "Oh? How strange, it changes…"
