In this world, there are four houses. They determine where you sit in the world's hierarchy. You can grow up in one house, but as soon as you hit 18 you get placed into your new house. Your house will not change from the moment it is given to you.
Diamonds: Diamonds are the rulers of the hierarchy. They are extremely rich and the most powerful of them all. They are the highest society.
Hearts: Hearts are the peacekeepers of the hierarchy. They have power over everyone but the diamonds. They are the higher middle society.
Spades: Spades are the baddasses of the hierarchy. They are the rebels who cause trouble and only have power over the Clubs. They are the lower middle society.
Clubs: Clubs are the problem solvers of the hierarchy. They are smart but have absolutely no power. They are the lowest society.
It is rare for someone to stay in the same house.

Background: Lillith has grown up being the superior. Her worst fear has always been that she'll get sorted into a lower house - she hurts at the possibility of being a Club. She has always had the hope that maybe she'll stay a Diamond - her brother Madex was re-sorted back into Diamond.
Lillith hates her parents because…well…what else can you expect from Diamonds?

Appearance: Caramel skin with dark brown eyes. His hair is dark down and is usually in a side part since he can't do much with short hair. Hugh is around 5'6" with a rather skinny frame, usually hiding it with his clothes.
Original Style: Hugh usually wears a baggy shirt with ripped jeans, along with some running shoes.
New Style: He wears a button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up, along with some dark colored pants and oxfords.
Personality: Hugh's the type of guy some might call weird, considering he would use science and facts to help people. For example, say someone's not sure if someone they like likes them or not, Hugh would 'study' the person and then answer their question, instead of guessing or something else. This is also why he doesn't have many friends and keeps to himself.
Likes: Music, science, psychology, rain, drawing
Dislikes: Rude people, loud music, big crowds, being the center of attention
Background: Hugh was always the quiet guy when he was in Heart, not one to talk much because he thought everyone there didn't like him. He thought he could be re-sorted but didn't know what other houses he could be sorted into.

Appearance: Louisa has a curvy and short build, just brushing 5’ 5”. Her complexion is an olive tone, that can slowly be seen working over to the darker side. Her skin is also sprinkled with freckles, concentrating more towards joints(shoulders, elbows, knees etc.). Her eyes are hazel, though closer to a brown. Louisa’s hair is a strawberry blonde with brighter tones, giving it more of a corally peach kind of look. Her hair is cut short and jagged, and it curls and fluffs up a lot at the ends which kind of hides the unevenness and gets into her eyes a lot.
Original Style: Her clothes always consisted of a t-shirt, sweatpants, and sandals of some kind. They varied a bit in colour, but she normally wore the same thing a few days in a row so she wouldn’t need to wash as much.
New Style: More tight fitting clothing and dresses. Everything is a bit more clean and only in neutral colours, always paired with some kind of jewelry.
Personality: Louisa always had a bit of an underlying condescending personality. Kind of like a personality built off of ‘get in, get out’. She was never the kindest person you would know, but she had the power to make others smile. Sometimes she’s a bit selfish, in wanting others not to inconvenience her with their problems and emotions and get out of her way. She always thought about herself as having some kind of superiority over everyone else, making everything a competition to physically be better than them all. Though, if she took a liking to someone, she would become less toxic of a person and she’s a good listener.
Likes: Control / Rain / Her hair / Sweet things / Emotionally secure people
Dislikes: High temperatures / Being less than another / Spicy things / Sensitive people
Background: In her original house, Louisa was the kind of person that everyone knew but didn’t necessarily like. People would really only go to her if they needed a decision to be made that was being too impacted by personal opinion. Her ties with anyone weren’t very strong, so when she got resorted there wasn’t any kind of feeling. No one will miss her either.
