It's hard when you're not in control of your body. When you never know when you'll lose the ability to make your own decisions.
Kassandra Roth is that type of person. She's as sweet as can be, but that's before Crow comes out.
And when Crow comes out, you don't want to be in the room.

Rachel Kruger (placeholder name) thinks she knows better. She meets Crow, and she can tell that Kassandra is fighting.

Name: Kassandra “Kass” Roth

Gender: Female. Crow does not have a gender, so if it’s Crow pls use they/them pronouns.

Appearance:
Kassandra: Kassandra has shoulder length, softly wavy hair. It is black in colour but has dark purple undertones. Her skin is pale and has no blemishes, with almost unnoticeable freckles across her nose. Her eyes are a stunning green and hide both pain and ever-constant worry.
Crow: Kassandra’s eyes go pitch black, and they seem to almost leak (think billie eilish’s ‘when the party’s over’). This isn’t her true form, but it’s what shows most often.
Crow has three different ‘settings’, if you will. When they are half taken over, Kass looks like the above. When they are maybe about a quarter taken over, Kass’ eyes are black instead of green, but this often takes a keen eye. When they are fully taken over, well…that will be revealed.
Style: Really anything comfortable. Kass normally wears slightly over-sized jumpers – or at least ones that cover her hands. She is known to wear beanies and black military boots. She always wears a black pendant, and she often fidgets with it. If one would look closely, they would see it morph when Crow takes over.
Personality: Kassandra herself is quiet. She doesn’t like to upset people and tries to stay out of the way. She is almost always worried and doesn’t speak up for herself. Crow is the complete opposite of Kassandra. They are bold, sassy and sarcastic. They have a sharp tongue and never apologise for their words. They are reckless and endanger Kass’ body (like they might jump off a cliff or drink a shit ton of alcohol).

Dislikes: Crow, her magic, her mother
Background: I honestly can’t tell you. Her backstory is so much of her character that it will be revealed quickly. You will also then find out about Crow.
Power/s: Chaos magic. This includes -
Reality warping; Magic probability manipulation; Teleportation; Matter manipulation; Time manipulation; Energy projection, manipulation and absorption.
She avoids using it as it can bring Crow on. Crow has full access to Kass’ powers, if not more.
(Basically it’s all the powers of Scarlet Witch but more powerful when controlled by Crow and black instead of scarlet)
Other: Crow can basically control Kass, but only if they are present. Kass often thinks that she is thinking for herself, say if she wants to go to a random bar, but it is most likely Crow telling her to in the back of her mind.

Appearance: Charlotte stands at about 5’8, with an extremely thin and frail-seeming frame, but despite her underweight appearance she has the slight curve of muscle to her figure. She’s Asian-American of Japanese descent with a dark olive skin tone and a hollow overall look to her facial features. Her eyes are wide-set and dark brown colouring. Her hair is pitch black very straight hair, cut in a neat bob down to around her shoulders. (and because I enjoy faceclaims she looks like this with a darker colouring and shorter, slicker hair)

Style: simple colours, practicality over style. Usually something along the lines of dark jeggings, a light tank top with a beige sweater, and black lace-up boots. She’ll wear earrings and ear piercings OR a couple rings OR a bracelet, never a necklace and never more than one type of jewellery at once

Personality: she usually comes across as calm and collected, and stays serious and alert around people. She’s intelligent, savvy, and decisive. She’s quite blunt and stubborn, and independent although she places a lot of importance in what other people think of her. Because of that, it’s quite easy to hurt her feelings, and she’ll try and hide it even though her face is very expressive and she’s a terrible liar. Her defence mechanism is becoming cold and distant, which she does a lot since people make her nervous. For certain people, she’ll turn into a fiercely protective and loving person, going to any lengths to make them feel happy and safe.

Likes: she enjoys physical activity and is in very good shape. She’s quite strong, but her main asset is her speed and agility. She loves reading and painting, and competition. She actually loves people and learning about them— from a distance.

Dislikes: confined spaces (extremely claustrophobic), being over emotional, talking about herself

Background: was raised by her older sister after their mother died giving birth to Charlotte and their father lost his mind and ran out on them. Her sister also left when Charlotte was 12, and Charlotte was put in the system until she ran away from her foster home when she was 14. She’s been faking her age, working, and living with whoever and wherever is acceptable. She banded together with another kid that she found, a boy called Nathan that was a year older than her, and they worked together to survive. She learned a lot from him, until he was caught selling pills and put in jail. She was 17 by that time, and managed to pretend to be an adult and move states. She’s been trying to live clean.

Power/s: water (ice and vapour included) and air manipulation, control over the air’s density, temperature and composition, control over weather, control over the water in people's bodies meaning she can make them move to her will

A figure walked into a bar. She kept to herself as she walked up to the bartender, getting a bottle of beer. She then proceeded to make her way to a booth and slip into it, drinking. Her eyes were black.

Charlotte was sat a corner table, quietly sipping at a glass of rum. She was watching people walk in, one by one, lonely and bored out of her mind. A woman walked in then, with soft dark hair and dark eyes. As she glanced around, Charlotte saw her eyes weren’t only dark. She frowned slightly, and watched the girl move to her seat.

The girl put the rim of the bottle to her lips, taking a swig. She did this too often, not that she cared. Well, she did, but she didn't. She just did it, but it wasn't because she wanted to.

Charlotte watched as the stranger took a generous swig of beer. She had quite a mixed aura, somewhere between dark and scared. It was quite a strong impression, one that definitely intrigued Charlotte.

The girl looked around, spotting another girl staring at her. Her eyes narrowed, and she held up the middle finger for a few moments. "Don't you know it's rude to stare?" She hissed to herself.

« I figure it’s ruder to flip off a stranger, » Charlotte noted flatly. She nodded to the chair next to her, hands intertwined in her lap.

« I was inviting you to sit next to me, in case that wasn’t clear, » Charlotte told the woman. She was really beautiful, slight and pale except for her strange black eyes. She was entrancing.

Her eyes suddenly became a stunning green. "I don't normally talk to strangers. I don't want to risk doing anything they'll regret," She said quietely, her confident demeanor gone.

Charlotte sensed the change, and mirrored it. She smiled softly. « Whatever happens, I won’t regret it. » She slid slightly to the side, making more space for the stranger.
« I’m Charlotte. »

"Kassandra," The girl said softly. "Call me Kass, though. And I wasn't talking about you. Not in the slightest."

"Okay, Kass," Charlotte conceded. "You should also know that I'm not afraid of much, and can handle whoever I met earlier. Okay? So humour me."

Her eyes switched to black. "You don't want to mess with me, Charlotte," She spat. "I can do way more than you could ever imagine. I am not limited to what this child can do."

Charlotte narrowed her eyes and squared her shoulders. "You know, it doesn't seem like you're welcome to Kass's body. I'd recommend you leave her, please, to spare yourself a feud with me."

"Hah. I'm not scared of you. I could take you on even with this poor child's powers. You're nothing but scum. I suggest you stay out of this. You don't want to mess with me."

"We'll see about that," she grinned, anger fluttering in her heart. "I'm not going anywhere until this is a different story."
She'd experienced darkness at work before. She wouldn't let it slide this time.

They let out a laugh. "I don't think so. I've been attached to Kassandra's soul for 18 years. I've been attached to her since she was in the womb. Try and get rid of me and you kill her. And I don't think that's what you're aiming to do."

« I didn’t say I was going to separate you, » Charlotte said softly, her grin slipping into a cold expression. « Just change this narrative. And there’s no point trying to make me leave, because I’m stubborn and I’m not leaving. »

"I'm not trying to make you leave. You know why? Because I'll do it for you." With a wicked grin, they teleported away, leaving only black smoke that disappeared.
