"Women and their high expectations," Arvil rolled his eyes and shut the door behind himself. He locked the door. "Let's go?"

“Yes, let’s. I’m pretty hungry, now that I think about it,” Daisy mused as she starred walking toward the door.

"There are lots of different versions of shawarma in here," he said to her, hands in his pockets. "You can tell them what you want and don't want."

Daisy nodded once in acknowledgement. “Sounds good. What’s your favorite thing to get here.”

"There's something called the paratha roll," Arvil answered as they walked inside and searched for a table. "It's delicious."

“What’s on that one?” Daisy asked as they sat down at a table.

"That is a bit harder to explain," Arvil pursed his lips. "Remember when I mentioned I've been to places? Well, I was on business in a country called Pakistan, and they sold a roll made out of this bread they call a paratha. Inside it are some chicken, mayonnaise, some vegetables, and spices. However much you like. When I came back to the States, I immediately searched for it nearby. So I found this."

“I know about Pakistan, Arvil,” Daisy chuckled, unfolding the menu and glancing down at it. “Sounds like it could be good… I’ll take a look before I order anything.”

"All right," Arvil hummed. "Do you need more time to decide what you want?"

“Just a little bit,” Daisy said with a nod, still glancing over the menu.

"Take all the time you need," Arvil assured her gently. "Whatever you take will be delicious. They even have burgers."

Daisy hummed in acknowledgment of his words. Eventually, she decided on a chicken shawarma bowl with rice and cabbage.

Arvil called out a waiter and gave him their orders. He wasn't a big fan of cabbages, so he gave Daisy a weird look when she told him what she wanted. Who even likes cabbages?

"So," Arvil broke the silence, "anyone in particular that you like at the orphanage?"

(Daisy: It adds a good crunch, okay!)

“Not particularly, no. The kids were very sweet, though,” Daisy said with a shrug. “What about you?”

(Arvil: cringes)

“I can’t have any favorites,” Arvil clicked his tongue teasingly and shook his head. “What kind of a person would I be? I’ve known them for years, Daisy.”

(Daisy: Hey, you’re not the one eating it. Don’t judge me.)

“Doesn’t mean you can’t like one more than the others,” Daisy laughed, shaking her head. “I don't know them well enough to.”

"Nah, they're all great kids," Arvil smiled, tapping his fingers against the table. "Oh, right; I have an interview coming up soon. I'll reveal our relationship then."

Daisy raised her eyebrows. “Really? When? With whom?” she questioned, her head tilted to the side.

"On Tuesday morning," Arvil responded, folding his sleeves up to his elbows. "With [ELEPHAN]. You should watch it when it comes out. It'll be interesting."

“Oh, you’re doing a recorded interview. I thought you meant a typed one,” Daisy mused. “All right. Let me know when it comes out.”

"Of course," Arvil nodded, chuckling. "I'll let you be the first to know so you don't look silly when people start asking you questions."

“That’s probably a good idea,” Daisy said with a slight laugh. “It would be awkward if someone asked me something about it and I didn’t know…”

“It’ll be fine,” Arvil smirked at her. “What would be awkward is having to meet your parents. And you meeting mine.”

Daisy cringed. “Well… I’m sure my parents will love you. You’re exactly the type of guy they want me to marry, so it’s a good cover.”

“Handsome, rich, amazing type of a guy?” Arvil asked with a smirk. “Good to know, darling.”

Daisy scoffed, shaking her head. “Rich and, in the public’s opinion, attractive. I wasn’t paying you a complement,” she laughed jokingly.

“Whatever you say,” Arvil purred. “I’ll take it.”

Daisy scrunched her nose and stuck her tongue out at him. “Whatever, Arvil,” she said with a huffed laugh.

“It’s fine if you don’t want to admit it,” Arvil shrugged offhandedly. “You will soon enough.”

Daisy scoffed again and shook her head. “Sure, Arvil. Whatever helps you sleep at night.”
