The servant left as Lucifer went about taking off his suit entirely with only boxers on as he flung himself onto the bed. "No!!! Jehovah thinks he can just fucking saunter up and expect me to change how I run my place??? That's not cool! It's not my fault his place is just some fucking party!"
Scipio's face flushed as Lucifer started basically stripping, but he managed to compose himself. "Y-Yeah, that's kind of a dick move…"
Lucifer growled more to himself about the problem, but basically sat there with his big arms crossed over his muscular chest. "It is a fucking dick move, and I can't do anything about it."
"Well, are you gonna change how you run things?" Scipio asked softly, laying down beside Lucifer.
"Fuck no! Fuck him! He can kiss my ass, my people are happier than his and he's just fucking jealous that they want to be here instead!" Lucifer roared.
"Shh… calm down, it's fine. You don't have to change anything if you don't want to." Scipio hesitated before wrapping his arms around Lucifer again.
Lucifer huffed but didn't kick off the human. "I'm not going to. We've discussed it and I'm gonna stick to my choice." He moved Scipio closer and wrapped his arms around him too, angrily cuddling him.
"Mhmm…" Scipio let Lucifer hold him close, getting comfortable..
Lucifer set his chin up so Scipio could snuggle into his neck, sighing loudly in frustration. "I hate that guy."
"I know, Lucy…" Scipio responded softly, huddling close to Lucifer for warmth.
Lucifer tugged at the sheets and covered them both again. "I'm gonna sleep some more," He decided, pulling his human companion closer.
"Alrighty… you do that." Scipio closed his eyes, figuring he'd just fall asleep as well.
Lucifer shut his eyes too, and vowed to just spend another day in bed. He didn't want to deal with anything.
And back to sleep he went. He slept for a long while, till about the afternoon. He blinked open his eyes with a big yawn.
Scipio was asleep by this point and was clinging to Lucifer, his head tucked under the other's chin as usual.
Lucifer moved a little, stretching out to ring the food bell. He relaxed back into Scipio with a soft noise, blinking slowly.
Scipio stayed asleep, huddled closely against Lucifer. His breathing was quiet and relaxed, and he didn't wake when another servant entered the room either.
Lucifer thanked the servant and told them where to put it, tilting his head to stroke Scipio's hair some more. Scipio always seemed to find ways to calm him down.
Scipio shifted a bit in his sleep, whimpering quietly. His grip on Lucifer tightened slightly before he woke with a start.
Lucifer tilted his head and moved back a bit when the other opened his eyes. He hadn't realized how close he got.
"You okay?" He asked gently.
"Y-Yeah…" Scipio rubbed the bridge of his nose, sighing. "Sometimes I still get nightmares about being on the front lines…"
Lucifer watched with curiosity, humming softly. "I'm sorry to hear that, Scipio. I assure you that you are safe here with me."
Scipio nodded and slowly relaxed, laying his head back on Lucifer's chest. Psychopath or not, the front lines were no joke.
Lucifer looked down at him and gently stroked his head. "I had some food brought up if you wanted to eat?" He gently suggested.
"Sure…" Scipio sat up with Lucifer, still leaning on him. "What did they bring this time?"
Lucifer had his legs split open to accommodate Scipio leaning on him, but didn't seem to care too much. "I dunno, I think they made some pizza."
"Alright." Scipio took a slice of pizza and began eating it. He was fully awake now from the nightmare.
Lucifer set his chin on the other's head as he ate his pizza, humming softly. He crossed his legs around Scipio's hips, keeping him in a protective Lucifer hold.
Scipio finished his pizza and just leaned back against Lucifer, sighing softly.
Lucifer also finished his, wiping his hands off on a napkin and grabbing a bit of juice to drink, also handing Scipio some.
"What do you wanna do today?"
Scipio sipped the juice, thinking for a moment. "Dunno… what all do you have to do down here? I haven't seen much other than the hot springs and here.
