He chuckled at her words and shrugged. "It wouldn't be the first time the press has scrounged for drama. It seems a little bit like pity to let them catch us doing anything." He grinned, meeting her eye as he spoke.
Alex leaned back in his seat, watching Lacey reapply her makeup with slight interest. He had watched his sister put on makeup before, but it was still interesting to see how simple it seemed; even if he knew it was far from that easy. When he was a kid he had put on some of his mother's makeup, but he had done far from even a decent job…needless to say, his mother had taken several pictures and laughed at the sight. Trying it again sounded like trouble.
