"Aha, not really. I just happen to walk faster than you do," she smiled and got in the car.

"Aha, not really. I just happen to walk faster than you do," she smiled and got in the car.
Miguel smiled while sighing and got into the driver's seat, he started the car and pulled out of the parking space proceeding to drive back ti the school grounds.

Gen turned on the radio and hummed along to the music that came on.
Miguel in turn sat quietly driving back to the school grounds, listening to Gen hum. He wanted to tell her that he liked her but he didn't know how to and he felt that he definitely didn't have the courage to tell her.

When they finally got back, she slowly dragged herself back to their dorm room. She didn't want to do the homework, but if she wanted to get through college, it would be necessary.
Miguel matched her sluggish pace and gave an awkward smile, "Homework isn't so bad, you know." He said encouragingly.
school
"I mean, no, but math is bad." she groaned at the prospect of math. The day's lesson's info only made it about halfway into her head.
"Do you need any help with your math assignment?" Miguel cast away the thoughts of his homework. He was happy to help Gen whenever she needed it.
school
"Sure, that would be great," Gen sighed.
Miguel nodded as he opened the door to their dorm and walked in, “Okay let’s get started. Unless you don’t want to do it right away?”
school
"Oh, I'd rather do math than write that essay I have for English. It's not due for awhile anyways." Gen went to her bed and pulled out homework.
Miguel nodded and sat on the couch, waiting for Gen so they could get to work.

"Alright," Gen started, showing her friend her math homework, a pencil in hand. Two, actually, in case Miguel didn't have one and offered a pencil to him.
Miguel took the pencil that was held out to him and looked at her homework, “So what is it that you need help with?”
school
"Um, everything besides this one," Gen pointed at the easiest problem on the whole sheet of paper. Glancing up at Miguel sheepishly, she admitted, "I fell asleep in class."
Miguel laughed, "You should sleep more." He glanced at the paper, "Okay so what you want to do for this first problem is…"
Time skip to an hour later?
school
(Sure.)
When Miguel had finished explaining all of the math, Gen yawned. "Wow, that was really… amazing," she took in all the notes he'd written on the paper, giving her little notes every so often as reminders. "I actually understand this now."
Miguel smiled in return while stifling a yawn of his own, "I'm glad you understand now." He stood up after handing the borrowed pencil back, "I should get started on my homework so goodnight!"
school
"Yeah! Okay!" Gen put the paper homework aside and pulled out her school-issued laptop from her backpack. Opening it up, she signed in and stated working on that English homework she still had to finish, but had the rest of the week to finish.
Miguel went into his room and closed the door behind him, instantly glancing at the clock, it was 10:56. He sighed, I'm glad I helped Gen figure out her homework…now for mine. He pulled out his 12 pages math packet that was due on Monday with 93 questions. It would takr awhile but this didn't bother Miguel.

She stared at the blank screen, the cursor blinking. So far, all she had written was:
Geneva Evans
English Essay
She'd been taught that when writing her name on school papers, it was just easier and less hassle for both her and the teachers to write her full name instead of Gen, even though that's what she went by usually.
Miguel slowly but steadily went through his packet, yawning every so often. He was tired from the movie and an hour of explaining. Though he wasn't angered about either of the two events, in fact he had enjoyed them. He tapped his pencil against his desk, thinking of how to answer the next question, making sure he knew everything happening in the world problem and what information he actually needed.

Gen decided to write an outline of an outline, just so she could feel like she was getting something done.
The next time Miguel looked at the clock was when he finished his math packet. He groaned, 12:39 a.m. the packet had taken awhile. 'Ve the time I'm finished with my essay it'll be 3:00 and then I still have some other stuff to do…" He mumbled to himself. The essay was a 7 page minimum.

Having gotten distracted, Gen ended up watching some videos on youtube. "Welcome to… comedy center!" the voice came out of the speaker. Not wanting to disturb Miguel, the volume was set to the lowest possible.
Miguel gently tapped his foot on the floor in concentration, only a page and a half was done so far and that wasn't going to cut it. Once again his eyes drifted to clock which he regretted, 1:42.
school
(Could we do a timeskip to the morning?)
(Sure)
school
(Cool.)
At one point, Gen got really tired and put her laptop away. She didn't even bother to check the time, she just collapsed onto the bed and fell asleep. But it was 2:06am by the way, if you wanted to know. Her alarm clock beeped four hours later, forcing moans and groans out of her. But she sat up, rubbing sleep out of her eyes.
Miguel had fallen asleep around 4 am, he had been working on more homework which he had almost been done with before he just kinda passed out where he was. He was still asleep on his desk when Gen woke in her room, since he never set weekend alarms.
