His head lolled up against the trash can tucked away neatly in a cramped alleyway barely lit up by a nearby streetlamp. The one across the street, meant to light up the alley, was flickered out and dim. The boy who was hidden in the deep shadow was bleeding heavily, and he looked very close to death. It was raining, and his hair was slicked down and dirtied up so much one wouldn't be able to make out the color of his hair or eyes. His clothes were ripped and were scattered all around the alley, making it seem as if whomever had tried to kill the boy, did more than just an attempted homicide. The only thing calling anyone of the crime scene was the reek of blood from his pale, shaking body.

His shaking had almost come to a stop when a long-legged, broad-shouldered man named Coby came and found him on the way home from work. Fortunately he was the assistant for one of the best detectives in town.

Coby picked up the boy and took him back, keeping a firm grip on him. Why had Coby picked him up? Coby recognized the boy from a case he did with a partner a few weeks back. The boy's parents had passed away, members of the Eryile family. Coby immediately discussed with himself the chances of the boy, Mr. Eryile, being targeted by the same group or person.

Basically, the boy will be my main character. He is a nineteen-year-old named Bryan Eryile whose parents had been most recently killed by a definite homicide. Coby takes Bryan to the agency where the detectives work to get him helped and keep him protected.

You will be the head detective that Coby works under (I will play Coby). Your character will preferably be a younger male (or female, idk it depends on what we decide), because soon the pair (Bryan and the Detective) will fall in love. The Head Detective takes it upon his/herself to protect Bryan in a chance to 1) get more information about the unsolved Eryile case and 2) to protect him from any more attacks.

We will not be using templets, therefore I suggest you know how to describe a character steadily (meaning hair, eye, etc.).

We will be starting when Coby arrives at the detective agency.

Coby carried the shaking boy to an unmarked building with a sign out front. The sign read U.S.A.H.D.A, with nothing else under it. It was a tiny sign in the garden under a few high windows. The building itself was quite large, kind of like a hospital mixed with an office.
Coby slowly set the boy down and let him lean against Coby's blood-stained chest, unlocking the door with a click. He walked in, completed a finger scan and a passcode to walk into a foyer-like area. He walked through, ignored thr secretary's call from her slate-black desk, and walked through the dark hall to a door. It was labeled Head Detective Office. Knock First–Please. Coby knocked with urgency, rapping loudly.

(Hold on, would you prefer male or female head detective?)

(I don't care, it's up to you.)

(Mmm we’re doing male x male on our other rp. Let’s go female x male. XD)

A soft, feminine voice called from the office, telling the officer to enter. The plaque located just to the left of the door told all that none other than Elenor Thornton sat behind its wood, working frantically at a messy desk.

The knock was only an inconvenience to her work and study. As one of the youngest detectives here, she had expectation after expectation loaded atop her. If she didn’t play the part they thought, she would surely be eaten alive.

“Make it quick, this case is getting the best of me and I’m not in a good mood.” Eleanor snapped, glancing up.

Coby gently picked up the boy, humming softly to him as he shifted with a faint cry of pain. He pushed open the door with a thumb and foot, walking in and broadening his shoulders.
"This case matters. Come, I need to drop him off before he dies, I just needed you to…. know this is Bryan. From the Eryile case."

Her head shot up. “Bryan? Where did you find him, Cody?” She asked suddenly, gasping softly. Her small hands moved her files aside.

Eleanor nearly ran to the male’s side, looking at the boy in his arms. The poor kid couldn’t have been any older than Eleanore herself. “My hell!”

"I found him in the really small alley I take to walk home." Coby turned and started to walk, quickly striding for the elevator. "All of his clothes were ripped up, he's soaking wet because it was raining, he has a lot of cuts on his arms and legs, and possibly other places. I haven't been able to get a good look at him." He jabbed the hail button for the elevator.

She followed the older agent, looking at nowhere but at the soaking, dying boy. “I want him under my charge.” She said suddenly, looking Cody dead in the eye. “I have an extra room for him to stay in once we get him fixed up. He can tell us important information. Who was his attacker? What did they look like? How was he cornered? Things we need to know.”

"We can sort that out for you, boss," Coby said loyally, walking into the black elevator awaiting them. "Come on, I want to talk to you some more, about Bryan. I think this attack proves that there's definitely a party of people after this family. But their intentions are unclear."

“Good.” Was all she said of the situation. It was all a little to convenient. The Eryile’s were killed and suddenly their child shows up, dumped in an alley. “Whoever did this - whether it was a group or not - are either incredibly sly and tactful, or absoulute idiots. They left him alive.” She said softly, running a soft hand through the boy’s hair as some sort of comforting action.

“They’re tricky to find. What do they want with such a family?”

"I think it was the first, boss. We have to be cautious of what this boy tells us." The elevator opened up for them, onto thee medicine ward. He walked in, announcing there was an emergency to the nurses and doctor chatting. They all looked up and the doctor immediately rushed forth as the nurses found a room for Bryan. The doctor carefully took Bryan, and the pair of detectives were taken to a room hastily thrown together.

“Good hell this is one damn case.” She cursed, running a hand through her bleached hair. She still hated its color. As the doctors moved franticall, Eleanor seemed calm and collected. Of course she still worried for the kid and his life but they had the best doctors around. Detectives were hurt often on job. She found herself standing in a hurried room, her arms folded over her chest.

Coby set the boy down, who twitched. The doctor gave orders to the nurses and he went to patching and stitching the wounds skillfully and swiftly as to stop bleeding. Coby stepped back to Elenore, looking down at her. "I think they said they'll be done soon. But Bryan might want sleep."

“Mm I’ll stay here for now. I want to be here when he wakes.” She told Coby with a kind smile. It seemed unlike her. “The closer I can get to him, the better.” She has to get close enough he would tell her everything, but she had to be careful. If it got unprofessional problems could occur.
