Just two rock n' roll idiots and the demon they accidentally summoned and aggressively befriended getting up to hijinks while trapped in an abandoned venue that once claimed the lives and trapped the souls of the musicians who played there, from the 80s to early 90s. And so they deal with the ghosts of hair metal and grunge. Good thing the two humans fit those niches very well!

Frankie stood in front of the looming, boarded up venue, looking up at the marquee that still had two band names on it. "Creepy, isn't it? Almost looks stuck in time…" She said, walking up slowly to the doors. "That being said, shall we time travel? Stand on the stage and dramatically sing into the empty crowd?"

Josh spit his piece of gum out on the ground. "You can say that again. Hell yeah, let's go in and rock the fuck out." He pushed his hair out of his face, noticing the planks covering the entrance. He glanced around. Seeing a bent metal pipe nearby on the ground, he picked it up and weighed it in his hand. "Ya think this'll get it open?"

Frankie stepped to the side, gesturing to the door. "By all means, go fucking wild." She said, smiling excitedly. "Let's raise a lil hell!"

Josh grinned, his tongue between his teeth. "I was hopin' you'd say that." Approaching the doors, he heaved the makeshift weapon with all of his strength. After a few blows, the thin, rotting planks were thoroughly broken. He jammed his shoulder against the door, and it swung open. Stepping back, he gestured inside. "After you." Then he winced. "What the hell. Where did that come from? Jesus." He tapped the ground with the pipe. "I'm gonna keep this in case we run into somebody."

Frankie shrugged, before walking in. "Thank you, good sir." She said, laughing softly. "Probably just a breeze. It's fall, and it's an old building…" She said, looking around the dark building, illuminated by the moonlight. She dug the flashlight she packed out of her back, flipping it on. "Whoa…"

Josh adjusted his jacket and followed Frankie inside. His eyes widened. "Holy shit. It's so…eerie. All empty and dusty…damn. Almost feels like it could be haunted."

Frankie smiled. "Well, it closed because of a bunch of mishaps. I think a few were deadly. Maybe it it." She said, walking in farther. "Lotta small-time grunge and hair metal too, so we'll fit right in with 'em!"

Josh turned a full circle, taking the place in, and noticed a large, lumpy form covered in a tarp and a thick layer of dust. He walked over to it, scanning with his light, and searched for a corner. Upon finding one, he ripped the tarp off, sending clouds of dust into the air. Coughing, Josh waved the dust away to reveal a drum set, two guitar cases, and a few amplifiers. "Dude, check this out! It's like it's been preserved this whole time. Wouldn't be surprised if half of it disintegrated if we tried to play it, though." He laughed.

Frankie walked over. "Holy shit." She whispered, crouching down next to one of the guitar cases. "Heh, someone left a lyric sheet… in Latin. Should I try it?"

"Sure, man." Josh peered over Frankie's shoulder at the page. "Maybe someone here was working on a…fuckin'–revolutionary new music thing and just left it here, unfinished. Hell, we might be able to make money offa this."

Josh left Frankie to decipher the lyrics and walked over to the drum set. He ran a finger over a cymbal, collecting a clump of dust, and tapped one of the snares. It felt oddly…new, even though this place had been shut up for years. He took his worn, knife-etched drumsticks out of his back pocket and curiously beat a couple of the drums. It made a louder noise than expected, and echoed in the empty space; he winced slightly. "Jesus, fuck. Sorry."
