Quiet place.
Water flows from quiet crevices in rocks, streaming down the mottled gray surface, leaking into a little basin where they like to swim. The sun peeks through the leafy branches and onto the flower-covered floor below, where a civilization grew.
They were all mute. None of them could speak, but they seemed to like it that way. They always smiled and hugged, never saying anything poor about each other. They all seemed so perfect, with little butterflies tattooed all around their tall, tanned bodies. Many had them on their chests and stomachs, where it is believed butterlflies really come from.
There is a King and a Queen here. They are the people who quietly rule with warm smiles and decisions of what to do with the few people who wish to ruin their space. There is not a lot, and they get ruled fairly; to get a butterfly removed from their body. It is painful, but it teaches a lesson. Instead of a butterfly, they have a scar. Scars of course can be seen on any person, wether it be from a romp with a friend and tripping, to a drastic fall from a tree in an attempt to hunt an animal far up.
However scars are seen everywhere, since these people, the Re'oil, do not wear clothing. They are much taller and healthier than the average Human, so they take pride in their bodies and scars. But there is no particular way to mate among them. There is an obvious difference in what gender is which, with slimmer bodies and faces for the women, and more broad shoulders and thicker legs for the men.
What were to happen if a very real human walked in on the civilization? Would they try to teach them their ways? Or perhaps vice-versa?
