Cam shut the door gently, pocketing their keys with a dreamy smile as he gazed around the cream-colored room, squishing the carpet under his feet.
"It is. It's a shame we couldn't get our other room, though," Cam said with a hint of disappointment. "But we were lucky to get the same hotel. So no complaints from me." He chuckled softly.

Lilah hummed her agreement as she sat down on the edge of the back and flopped down onto her back. “Do you remember the first night we stayed there?” she asked softly, a hint of laughter in her voice. “We were so awkward about that… I don’t think either of us wanted to take initiative then…”

Cam set their things down and started unpacking with soft hums. "Seventeen years later…" He chuckled. "Why are you bringing up that? We were reluctant to do a lot of things when we first got married."

“Just… memories, I guess,” Lilah said with a shrug as she pushed herself up onto her elbows to smile at him. “Can you belive we’ve been married for over seventeen years? It feels like time just flew by…”

Cam looked over his shoulder to smile warmly back. "They're good memories. It's fun to recap how we used to act around each other." He laughed softly and went back to carefully put shirts in a dresser.

“It is, yeah. I’m glad to have been with you for so long,” Lilah said softly.
Cam hummed, smiling. "I'm glad, too. I really am." He stood from the bags and joined her on the bed, pecking her cheek.

Lilah smiled and leaned into his side. "Should we just take a nap before going out to sight-see? Or… Anything else?"
Cam wrapped his arm around her and leaned into her in response. "I'm not sure, really. You seem to be hinting at the fact that you want to do something else," He observed with a wink.

Lilah coughed softly, her cheeks turning a light pink. "I mean… Kinda? I honestly hadn't even realized that I had actually been insinuating anything, but now that you mention it…"

"You weren't?" Cam asked skeptically with a soft laugh at her blush. He pressed a kiss to her cheek. "Well I'm going to get changed into something more comfortable or take a shower. You'll have time to make your decision then."

"Or I could just join your shower," Lilah stated, blinking at him once with a small smile. "That would be nice, don't you think? Or maybe we could relax in the jacuzzi tub?"
"Oh, the jacuzzi sounds nice," Cam reflected, momentarily forgetting they had the jet-powered tub. "Yeah, let's do the latter." He nodded.

Lilah grinned and stood up, waiting for him to join her when she'd made her way to the bathroom door. "C'mon, let's get in then, love."
Cam stole their bathroom supplies from their bags and set them up in the bathroom once they entered it, smiling at her as he shut the door.
"It's so nice to be back, don't you think?" He asked as he set down their toothbrushes and washes.

"Very nice. I really do love this hotel. It's always so beautiful," Lilah agreed softly as she bent down to start the water running. When she'd gotten it to the right temperature, she turned to Cameron with a grin. "Help me with this?" she asked, gesturing to her clothes.
Cam took out some soap and found a bubble bath mix in the cabinet. "Ooh! Hotel delicacies, too," He said with a soft laugh, joining her near the tub and nodding. "Yep, just turn around."

Lilah chuckled softly and turned around. "Don't tell me your going to take them home again? Your stash is large enough as it is," she teased.

Cam helped her out of her shirt, rolling his eyes. "My stash of bubble-baths is innumerable and vast. But not useless."

"And never ending, apparently," Lilah joked, tossing him a quick smile over her shoulder. She shivered a little as the cold air hit her skin, glad that they would soon be in the warm tub.
(Lmao I get that. It's still a good leadway so I'm not complaining.)
Cam grinned back as he helped her out of her pants and undergarments. "Right. Go on ahead in, you look cold." He shouldered off his coat and shirt, setting the pair up on the toilet so they weren't on the ground. Soon he had joined her in the tub, relaxing into the warm water.

Lilah sighed as she relaxed in the heated water of the tub. When Cameron got in after her, she scooted closer to him and rested her chin on his shoulder with a small smile.
"This is nice. I'm really glad we got to come here again," she mused softly, leaning against him.
(Lmao true though.)
Cam wrapped an arm around her and leaned his chin against her hair, humming softly.
"I know. I'm glad we could be here for so long. Much longer than what we had last time."

“Yes, but we have the train ride last time, too. I think our honeymoon was about as long as this trip will be,” Lilah said softly, turning to wrap her arms around him and press a quick kiss to his cheek.
Cam hummed softly and hugged her closer, setting his head onto her shoulder with a faint yawn, which immediately curled back up into a smile.
"That's true. But we have, what, three weeks here?"

“Two weeks, love. Well… About twelve days, because we have one day for traveling each way,” Lilah reminded him. “Are you sleepy? Maybe we should finish up in here and just head to bed. I don’t want you to fall asleep in the tub again.”
Cam "aww"ed softly, though he knew they were fortunate to get that much time here.
"Oh, no, it's alright, dear. Let's stay in here." He sat up again, pulling her closer in his embrace.

Lilah smiled and leaned into him more, nuzzling his cheek. “Okay. If you’re sure you won’t fall asleep. I really don’t want to have to try to wake you up again. It was hard work when you did last time,” she teased.
Cam hummed softly and leaned back into the wall of the tub. "I was very comfortable, okay? Who knew sleeping in a tub could be so nice?"
