Riencarnation of the hearts

The doctor came back with soup and hot chocolate. He handed one off to Axel and set the other one down for Jas. “I’ll be in my workroom if you need me.” He said, walking off to another room.

Axel smelled the food before drinking. Making sure there wasn’t poison or something. Axel laid next to him and took a sip of his hot chocolate. “If you can here me, I love you.”

Jas stayed asleep for the rest of the hour.
The doctor came back in “mind getting up?” He asked Axel, bringing over a blood pressure cuff and medical supplies. “He should be waking up any second now

“Sure…” Axel got up and set the empty mug down. He watched the doctor do his work. He played with Jas’s hair and watched him with a smile.

Jas started coming out of the deep sleep but was still sluggish and sleepy. He slowly reached up and touched Axel’s hand and gently pulling it to his lips. He pressed gentle kisses to his palm “my gorgeous vampire.” He whispered as the doctor silently took his blood pressure

“Hey you remember?” Axel had tears starting to form in his eyes. “Stop it you’re making me cry…”

He nodded, tears forming in his eyes as well. The doctor finished up the check quickly and helped Jas sit up. “I’ll leave you two alone. Call if you need anything.”

Axel nodded. “This life let’s try to not to piss people off so we can have a family.” He chuckled. “We are never splitting up again you hear me?” Axel sniffles softly.

Jas laughed softly “yes my love, never again.” He agreed, voice soft. He gently tugged at Axel’s arm and pulled him close, wrapping his legs around his waist and kissing him ever so gently. One of his hands resting gently beneath his shirt to feel his warmth while the other was tangling into his hair. He slowly stood with Axel hooked around his waist and pinned him against the bed, his lips moving from the lips to Axel’s jawline and neck. His hand on his back traces the length of his spine and chest

"You missed me that much?" he gave a light moan. "You're okay now right?" Axel looked up and with a worried face.

“I’d be a little tougher but my whole body feels like lead right now.” He murmured, pulling away gently and nodding “if you mean that I remember everything about our past life and that if I feel the same love for you as I did before, if not more? Then yes my love, yes I’m fine.” He kissed him once again before resting his head on his shoulder “I’m sorry my love.”

Axel cupped his cheeks. "What are you sorry for?"

He leaned into his hand and pressed a gentle kiss to his palm. “For causing those years of pain, for not loving you like you deserve when I did come back.”

"Hey….I'm alright. You didn't hurt me. Of course, I was a little sad that you couldn't remember some promises that we made, but I'm not angry at you for it. I'm angry at the person who stole them, but he ended up rioting in jail. He got what he deserved."

Jas sighed softly and pressed their heads together “we have a lifetime and more to make up any promises.” He traces the curves of Axel’s back and hips, his eyes closed as he familiarized himself again with Axel’s body

Axel closed his eyes. "Your hands feel nice again. I like it when you touch me like this." he moved his head and kissed Jas. "If there is anything wrong with your memories you have to tell me okay?"

He laughed softly, I see it wasn’t just me who changed in the next life. Every time I used to touch you, you’d blush so beautifully.” He kissed Axel back and nodded “I will love,”

"Well, I don't have an illness anymore…" he stuck his tongue out. "Thank you."

“A shame, really. I was hoping to see that blush again.” He gently brushed his hand along Axel’s cheek. “Adorable creature.” He murmured affectionately as he pulled him close to his chest.

"Well, you just have to try harder for me to blush," Axel mumbled, kissing his neck and jaw.

“Gladly,” he replied, tilting his head up and humming softly at the kisses.

Axel kissed his lips and wrapped his hands around Jas's neck. "Are you hungry? The doctor made some food for us. He said that you would be hungry when you woke up."

Jas nodded and looked around. He stood with Axel in his arms and walked over to the table with the food. “It’s safe to eat, right?” He asked, shifting Axel to one leg so he could still hold him as well as eat comfortably

"I checked multiple times. I drank the hot chocolate and some of the soup, so you're good." he kissed his cheek.

he glared down at the soup skeptical before carefully taking a spoonful of the soup and a sip of the chocolate. he relaxed and ate some more, finishing the food off with a grateful sigh

"I know you just got all your memories back, but we've known each other for centuries. So, I was wondering if you would like to marry me?" Axel shook his head. "You can think about it if you need to."

Jas glanced up in surprise and almost spit out the chocolate. He set the cup down and tugged Axl close "you're serious? this isn't one of your pranks or anything right? you…you want to get married? with me?"

“No, it’s not I want to get married with you. I mean if you say no then it’s fine and we can still be boyfriends or friends if it’s too awkward.” He looked away, playing with his hands. “I know I don’t have the rings now, but I can get them soon. Just give me a little time and I’ll have them.”

Jas' features softened and he gently cupped Axel's cheek "i don't need rings to know that I want to be yours forever my vampire." he pulled him into a tender kiss, drawing out for a bit. "yes," he whispered against his lips "yes I'll marry you. yes, I'll be yours forever."

His eyes went wide and so did his smiled. Axel jumped and hugged him tight. “I’m so happy!” He yelled. “I love you so much!”
