(she ok?)
(Yep!)
(so… You gonna start?)
(Oh, shit, yeah)
It took Kaz three days. Three horrible, miserable, pissed off days to find the fucker named "Bulldozer." It was so hard because the fucker never said still. He ran around like he was the most popular guy in town; supermarkets, parks, strip clubs, everywhere. But Kaz finally caught him.
He was on the clock, as obvious by the construction worker outfit he wore. He looked like he'd never seen the inside of a gym before, with a bald head that glistened with sweat, a belly that bulged against the buttons of the shirt he wore under the reflective vest, and a neck so thick it was as wide as his head. Kaz was practically grinning under his mask as he drew his shortsword from his back, jumping from the roof of the left hand building into the alley.
"Bulldozer?" he asked, his voice muffled by his mask.
The fat man turned around, chewing on a gyro. "Hm?"
Kaz pointed the sword at him. "You're fucked."
(idk what to do
thats not easy to follow on from since i cant get my character there)
(My bad, will this work?)
"A brutal murder happened last night in the alley next to the Starbucks Cafe on South Street," a news anchor read from a piece of paper, glancing up at the camera randomly between words. "The victim was popular superhero Bulldozer, and the killer is believed to be Rip, a villain last seen near the Westside apartment complex. It is advised that the heroes in the area stay on high alert for this dangerous fugitive. The reward is $500,000."
(yeah, thats better
sorry)
Avery cleaned the dishes in her parent's home, speeding around and getting it done quickly. Her dad looked up at her from watching the TV. "You gotta be careful, Aves," He said. "If you see that guy Rip, either run the other way or take him down."
"Yes, dad," Avery sighed. She loved her parents so much, but sometimes they just didn't get this superhero business. If Avery saw this Rip guy, of course she was gonna take him down. She'd only run if she knew she couldn't win, and only then if she knew she'd die. "K, I'm leaving!" She called as she dried of her hands and grabbed her backpack.
Rip was sitting on the edge of the Westside apartment complex's building, his mask resting beside him. He was cleaning his sword with a dirty rag, whistling contently as he did so. He definitely didn't look like someone who just viciously gutted one of the city's most popular superhero. So I got the whole city after me now. Fun. Well, all press is good press, as they say.
Avery walked along the pathway, music in, on her way back to her own apartment. She turned into an alley shortcut between two streets, looking to see if anyone was following her. When no one was around, she retreated into the shadows so that she could change into her 'uniform'. In a few split seconds, gone was Avery Manel, Impulse in her place.
He squinted at the sight of the girl hauling ass and cursed.
"Looks like I got company," he grumbled, reaching over for his mask as he tossed the rag off of the roof. It fluttered down a few feet away from Avery, damp with a mix of water and blood.
She jumped slightly as the rag hit the ground, not knowing why. Maybe it was the fact that it scared her, or the fact that she knew Rip could be anywhere. She looked around: up, down, side to side and all around. She ran up the side of the building and onto the roof so that she could get a better view of the alley and the surrounding area. She didn't see anyone, but she knew they were there. "Come out!" She yelled.
"Up here, sweetheart!" he called down cheerfully, his sword in the scabbard on his back, and his bunny mask smiling pleasantly down at her.
"Need me to come down, or can you do that little trick all the way up here?"
She stared at him, not saying anything. Her eyes rapidly surveyed him, taking in all the facts she could gather. She could tell that this was Rip, but the way she would take him down was a current mystery. She shot ice at him quickly, her hands and the ice moving to fast for him to dodge. He became encased in a large block of ice that would take hours to thaw through. She ran back down to the alley and then up the other building so that she was standing next to him.
He raised his eyebrows within the block of ice, as if to say, What now? Kaz appeared generally unconcerned about his current situation.
Avery walked around him, looking this Rip guy up and down. Who does this guy think he is? How did he manage to kill Mattias? The dude's HUGE, and this Rip guy's so…average. And that mask is fucking creepy.
"MynameisImpulse.IworkforNorthside,mainlyasthepersonwhogoesafterpeoplelikeyou.I'massumingthatyouareRip.WhydidyoukillBulldozer?HowdidyoukillBulldozer?Iknowhimpersonallyandhewasahardguytotryandkill,evenforme." She fired quickly in Spanish, her nervousness showing.
"Well, if you spoke in a language I understand, I could answer what you want," he said. He was very happy he made the mask's eyebrows attached to his own. It was an incredibly intricate process that took him hours, but the shock factor was amazing. Her face was priceless.
This is gonna be fun.
(Did you watch Deadpool? 'Cause a fair comparison to what I mean by the mask being attached is Deadpool's eyes whenever he wears his mask)
She glared and then took a deep breath, preparing to repeat herself properly. Breathe, Avery, breathe. "My name is Impulse. I work for Northside, mainly as the person who goes after people like you. I'm assuming that you are Rip. Why did you kill Bulldozer? How did you kill Bulldozer? I know him personally and he was a hard guy to try and kill, even for me," She said again, in English this time.
"Well, he killed one of my friends. Figured I should repay the favor. And even through he was strong, there ain't much that can hurt me." His shoulders were aching from staying in the same position for too long, but there wasn't much use complaining.
"That's not a good enough reason under the eyes of Northside or the law. In both pairs of eyes, it's labelled first-degree murder, and it will not be taken lightly. Either turn yourself into the law or suffer when Northside comes after you."
"And where's the justice for my friend, hm?" he asked, the casualness now laced with something more aggressive. "That tubby sack of assholes would've gotten off scot free for killing him and I have plenty more documents proving how bullshit Northside is. Y'all aren't anything but sick fuckers in spandex posing as good guys."
"First off, this isn't spandex. And what it is doesn't matter to you. And Bulldozer doesn't kill without reason. None of us to. We either kill with a purpose or not at all."
He laughed, but there was no humor in his voice. "A quick background check would show mister Bulldozer as a registered sex offender in nine different states. Did you know this, huh?"
