Lucifer added milk to the bowel and it now looked like frosting you would get in a store. "Try some." he dipped his finger in and held it up to Jamie.

"Why thank you," Lucifer licked the rest of off his finger. The cinnamon rolls had finished just in time. He took it out the over and started to spread the icing on the rolls.

“I can’t wait to taste the whole cinnamon roll.” The angel watched for a moment before he looked around for something he didn’t even know. “I need to fix my feathers again, I can feel there are some out of place. They’re such a hassle at times.” He sighed deeply, flickering his eyes from the cinnamon rolls to Lucifer’s face. “I’ll do that after breakfast though.”

"Father, he taught because he said. 'Every good husband should learn how to cook.' Then my dad was like 'I need to learn how to cook!' So I had to eat so many disgusting things until he got it right." Lucifer started to eat one, half way through his explanation

Jamie did as told, stretching out his wings. True to his words, they were an absolute mess. “Most of them are messy but there’s a few in this wing that hurt bad,” he waved his left wing and pointed out the spots.

He nodded and started on his left wing. “How do you even get them this messy? I might have to pull some out.” Lucifer moved some of them back in place. “How does that feel so far?”

Jamie pouted playfully, glancing back at Lucifer with a blush. “They get messy while I’m sleeping and while I’m cuddling you. They’re just like that.” He giggled softly, shivering in delight as the feathers were fixed. “Much much better…”
The angel’s blush deepened and he fluttering his wings slightly. “Did you know that to angels preening is something reserved for their mate and mother’s? So only my mate can touch my feathers.” He smiled softly. “And me of course. I’m too old now for my mother to be preening me.”
