Lucifer did just that. "They're…..so messy." Some feathers were fine, but most of them aren't because of earlier.

“No kidding, love.” He laughed gently, moving to slowly run his fingers through the soft feathers. “They’re all over the place. When I become your husband I’m going to do this every night for you. I’ll make sure your feathers look good and beautiful! You’ll be a king after all, and Kings have to look good.” He mused, working his fingers quickly as he gently pulled and twisted feathers back into place.
