"I'm starving. What do you like to eat?" She stepped out of her room. "I can go get some groceries or we could order something or we could find somewhere. I don't care what we do, I just need some food." She laughed a little at her words.

“Hmmm, wait you can cook?” She raised her eyebrow.
Evangeline nodded a little. "A bit. My mom insisted I help her in the kitchen and make dinner sometimes so that I'm 'prepared to live alone'."
“Oh? Do you wanna cook or go out to eat. I don’t mind either one. I would have to do both at some point,” Mel smiled.
She looked up to the ceiling and crossed her arms as she tends to do when she's thinking. "Let's go out, why not! I'm not in the mood to cook anyway." Evangeline started putting on her shoes, which usually take some time to put on.
“That’s fine with me!” Mel slipped on her shoes and wait for her to be ready. She fixed her hair and flicked something off her chest.
After finally finishing her shoes, she stood up and grabbed the key. "So what kind of food do you like? Also, I have no idea where anything is, I moved here for college just today and I haven't had time to look around."
“Well, I don’t eat much, so we can just explore together!” Mel exclaimed.
"Hmm, okay, sounds good to me! Maybe we should just get something simple that we can take with us." She opened the door and gestured for Melody to go through, with a smile.
Mel nodded and walked through the door and started walking down the hallway with her. “Ready to explore the streets Evan?”
"I sure am!" She said as she closed and locked the door. They then walked down the halls to the outside of the building. "So, where to?"
“Well, there’s Chinese food, Japanese food, American food…” she listed laughing a little.
"… Which one is the closest?" She laughed, but she was dead serious.
“Up Chinese I think. It should be right down the block,” Mel thought. “Feeling lazy huh?”
"Nope, I'm just really hungry and a bit tired. But Chinese sounds great! Lead the way!" Evangeline smiled as they walked down the street.
“Don’t blame me if we get lost…” Mel grabbed Evan’s hand and started running.
Surprised by the speed, she almost tripped, but she caught herself before she could fall. Evangeline ran at the same pace as Melody once she got her balance.
Melody saw the place and slowly stopped running not letting go of Evan’s hand. “Smells good!”
Evangeline noticed that Melody didn't let go of her hand, her hand becoming very sweaty. She stopped holding Mel's hand hoping she would also let go. The whole time she was smiling at the smell. "Let's go inside!"
Mel nodded putting her hand behind her head and walking in. They sat down at a table and waited. “So, what’ you major?”
Evangeline had to think for a moment. "I am… not sure… I still haven't decided." She looked up at Melody. "What about you?"
“English. I love writing, it makes me feel like I’m in their shoes, like I’m living their lives because I’m writing them. Weird huh?” She scratched her head.
"No, not really actually. That is the best part if writing for sure, but I'm not a huge writing fan. But I do like reading. I can read any drafts if you ever need any feedback!" She said with a smile.
“Really? Thanks! I could really use some feed back,” she giggled as the waiter came around. “Are you ready to order?”
She looked at Melody. "Uhh are we?". She lightly shook her head at Mel.
(?)
(Evangeline shook her head meaning no to Melody because Evangeline wasn't ready to order)
(It was different before. Nvm.)
“I’ll come back latter then.” The waiter walked away going to another table.
“Well, what would you want to eat?”
(Okay! :D)
"Well, I'm not sure… I honestly don't eat much Chinese food and I'm pretty indecisive." She scanned the menu trying to find something that sounded good. "What are you getting?"
“Pork Fried Rice. You’ll be in heaven once you eat it!” She day dreamed.
