Chrysa nodded along hearing his response. He seemed kind of dead, but that was fine with her. Hopefully he would get better with time. She gave him a smile, "Well Min-Hyuk, I'm Chrysanthemum. Just call me Chrysa though."

He nodded, leaning on her shoulder and closing his eyes. He swore if she moved, he would be pissed. “Nice to meet you I guess” he says, obviously tired. (I’ll explain why he’s so tired when he’s asking the questions lol)
Chrysa nodded and just let him lean on her. She had no plans of leaving anytime soon, "Nice to meet you too. Feel free to ask your questions I suppose."
group
"why'd you take me?" he asked, relaxing on the girl. His eyes still loosely closed. He was still pretty confused and he would be a little mad about the whole thing at the moment. But he hadn't slept for about a whole week.
"Cause I know what living in the lab is like," Chrysa responded honestly. It wasn't the only reason she grabbed him, but it was one of them, "I know how horribly you guys are treated."
group
"oh" he nodded, dozing off a bit. "I'm sorry you had to go through that" he mumbled sitting back up but hanging his head low. (sorry it's short)
Chrysa looked over at him almost half asleep. She stayed where she was and pulled her legs close crossing them while sitting, "It was a long time ago. You're probably tired. Get some rest and I'll wake you when I think we can move again."
group
"no it's fine. I can stay awake a bit longer" he mumbled before dozing off on her shoulder.
(should we skip?)
(Yeah, skip to when he wakes up?)
group
(yeah)
Chrysa waited a few hours almost dozing herself, but she forced herself to stay awake. The sun was close to setting so they really couldn't afford to stay any longer. She nudged Min's sleeping form, "Get up. It's time to move."
group
Opening his eyes with a small scowl, he sat up. “Well yes ma’am” he says almost sarcastically as he stood, adjusting the collar of his nice shirt. Man he hated it and he was sure he looked absolutely ridiculous in it. But he didn't plan on complaining about it. “Lead the way” he says turning to her, running blackened fingers through his mess of hair.
Chrysa stood up from where she was. She made her way to the door and glanced around before walking back to Min Hyuk, "This way then. It's not far from here if I remember correctly."
group
He followed her silently, not caring where he was really. As long as he didnt have to worry about the lab guards chasing him.
“So does this mean you’re like me?” He suddenly asks the girl “if you were in the same situation i mean” his voice trailed off and so did his mind. It was still all in a jumble and a tangle of thoughts, being hollowed out by the second. He was curious as to see what his life would be like after this.
Chrysa removed her glove from one hand revealing the intricate INK of a dragon along with showing off the true scale like nature of her skin. She showed to Min before putting it back on and continuing along the rooftops, “Different splice, same idea,” she took a deep breath before letting out a sigh as her mind dipped back into her younger years. She had been lucky getting out of that hellhole at the age of 8. And even then it had been sheer luck and coincidence that she made it out, “So yes, I am like you.”
group
He nodded, understanding and finding it interesting. He would have liked to look at her ink design more, but she slipped the glove back on.
Looking down on everything from the rooftops, he made sure to watch his step. All of this was so new. All he ever knew in life was the lab.
She was slow as she moved knowing very well he was knew to this. It didn’t take long before they reached their destination. A single sheet metal hut standing tall and alone on one of the highest buildings, “That’s home up there. Have any more questions for me?”
group
He arched his neck, looking up to the top with slight confusion. “I might. But not now. Ill ask them once i have some i guess” he shrugged. “So….how are we getting up there?”
Chrysa moved over to one of the sides. She beckoned for him to come over to where she was, “Well we climb. If you can’t do it I always have the grapple you can borrow.”
group
He raised his eyebrows, "oh fun" he let out a soft chuckle. "okay, where is it" he held out his hand to her "I want to get this over with."
"Here," Chrysa pulled out her grapple and handed it over to him. She shrugged off her purple jacket and allowed for her wings to stretch out to their full size. They weren't large, but they were big enough that to hold her weight. Removing her jacket also revealed the faded black fire INK and more of her scale skin, "I'll see you up there."
group
His eyes widened even more at the sight of- WERE THOSE WINGS?!
he stepped back and watched her fly up with confusion.
“How the hell do I even work this thing?” He scowled before holding it up more to look at it. He didn’t know what’s he did, but he definitely did somethin* because the hook shot straight up to the top. “Oh…how useful” he said sarcastically before scaling the wall.
(Yes, yes they are.)
Chrysa landed carefully at the top and put her jacket back on. The first thing she was doing was teaching Min Hyuk the necessities of living on the rooftops, the next thing would be to get him some more appropriate clothing. She helped him up over the edge and took the grapple back, "Glad you figured it out. Welcome to my home, your home now too."

The boy looked at her as if she were crazy. Why the hell did she live up here? He did admit that it was smart. But seriously? This was only a Bit extra he thought.
"home" he repeated the word under his breath as he took everything in. "where are the beds" was handiest thought. Though he didn't say anything, simply following this crazy woman
Chrysa lead him into the sheet hut. It wasn't as cramped as you might have thought from looking at it from the outside. It helped that there was almost nothing in there. Just an old mattress that was a bed and a desk with an old working computer on it alongside one of the hologram tablets. She looked over at him, "I live up here becuase it's the safest place to be. No one dares to tempt the winds and I can see anyone coming for miles away, just in case you thought I was crazy for living up here. Everyone else lives in another base on the other side of the city."
group
He nodded, still thinking she was a lunatic. "better than back there" he shrugged as he stepped in. "where am I going to sleep?" he asked trying not to sound like he was complaining. He was still pretty tired. But it was a bit better with the fact that he took a nap about 30 minutes ago.
"We can share the bed," Chrysa responded easily. It was times like these she was grateful she didn't experience some of the hardships some of the other rebels had, "Until I can get another mattress at least."
group
"okay" he says with a yawn, his eyes watering a bit due to his drowsiness. He sat on the bed with no other words, seeming totally okay with it and starting to unbutton his shirt, not thinking anything of the situation.
Chrysa looked away and sat down at her desk so she didn't have to watch him undress. She didn't blame him he looked uncomfortable in those clothes. She thought for a moment and reached under the desk and tossed a white shirt at him, "Wear this, okay?"
group
“You’re making me sleep with a shirt on? How rude” he says with a sigh, not actually meaning she was rude. It was almost in a joking sarcastic manner. If he could sound joking that is.
“Fine” he caught it and slipped it on. He hated the pants, but he wasnt about to take those off.
“Thanks” the boy mumbled before looking down at his hands, squeezing them into tight fists before running the weapons through his messy hair.
