Aurelius tried to savor the moment. For now, all seemed well, but it was only a matter of time before all of that changed and the conflict intensified.

Silver didnt even bother to think about the future,smiling as he enjoyed the peace.

Aurelius started to nod off into an uneasy sleep. His grip on Silver slackened a tiny bit, but he still held his position for the most part.

Silver noticed, and gently pulled him down to the ground, snuggling next to him.

Aurelius breathed softly against Silver.
He was already catching little wisps and fragments of dreams. As he dreamt, feathery black haze curled off his fingertips.

Silver made sure to contain it with his own aura, smiling as he hugged the other.

Aurelius stirred a little bit. He was in and out of sleep, caught between dreams even though the sleep wasn’t deep. He whimpered softly.

Silver hugged him reassuringly, watching him.

Aurelius then jolted awake. He looked a little shocked and dazed at first, but then his eyes met Silver.

Silver smiled at him, pulling away a little, not wanting to make things awkward.

“O-oh… sorry…” he murmured sleepily.
He was a little disoriented still, and trembling just a bit from fear of whatever he had seen at rest, but he was just alert enough.

Silver hummed softly, "You okay?" he asked softly.

“Dreaming a little,” he replied simply, “that’s all.”

“I mean, unpleasant dreams, but yeah,” Aurelius reassured him.

“There was nothing coherent enough to talk about,” Aurelius yawned, “but I appreciate the concern.”
