Rykah and Will(because I can't think of a better title)

"The other islands….?"

Rykah nodded, "When the attacks took over the Sardara, everyone fled to Castra Islands with the help of the Mikar Warriors…."

None of the words made sense, but Will just nodded.

"I was with one of the last flight teams… when.. " he sighed, "We were hit by an attack, I- I was the only survivor… I was able to make it to this island… but…"

"Rykah……" Will said, quietly. He put his hand on the other boy's shoulder.

Rykah kept watching the horizon. "If the rest of my family is alive they're on one of those islands…" he said sadly, "And I'll never be able to get to them…"

Will squeezed Rykah's shoulder. "I'm sorry."

"Don't be…" Said Rykah softly, "I'm just lucky to be alive…."

Will wasn't totally sure how to respond, so instead he just put an arm around the other kid's shoulder.

"And maybe someday… " a small glimmer of hope rose in his voice, "I'll be able to control my powers enough to get to one of the other Islands…"

Will smiled sadly. "Maybe someday." He repeated.

"But right now I wanna show you something!" Said Rykah tearing his eyes off of the Horizon and getting to his feet.

"Alright." Will said, following Rykah.

Rykah summoned a ball of Violet aura, "Chaosae Miras!" he called out the spell and suddenly everything around them went crazy, Rykah was floating upside down, and there were plants everywhere.

"What the…?"

Rykah grinned at his freind's reaction, "Its called Chaos magic" he said "Most of the time its pretty hard to control, but that doesn't mean much here!"

Will smiled because his friend didn't seem quite so upset. "It's awesome."

Rykah smiled, Not quite felling so lonely anymore as he let the magic fade.

"Is there any…. inside areas here?"

"Not really" said Rykah.. "Why?"

Will shrugged. "Just curious." It was then that he realized he was extremely tired.

"I guess we should get some sleep huh" Said Rykah

"Yes, please."

Rykah led Will down the side of the mountain to a small grove, "We dont have much here.." said Rykah with a shrug, "But this spot is well sheltered.." he flopped down in the grass

Will sat down, wishing to just pass out and sleep forever, but onstead staying sitting.

"Night Will" said rykah tiredly, letting his wings spread out as he fell asleep.

"Night, Rykah." Will waited until he was sure Rykah was asleep, and then laid down himself, making sure he was in reach of the other boy.

Rykah was up early the next day, checking to make sure Will was still asleep he quickly headed off to another fruit grove to find some breakfast.
