Rykah and Will(because I can't think of a better title)

Rykah didn't even answer other than immediately turning left.

“Here it is!” Will said, gesturing towards a large house. He started up the walkway and opened the door. “We’re home, Mom!”

Rykah sighed and his ears flattened as he walked up the steps, to the house.
(I keep getting mixed images of James and Sirius, Solangelo, and the fact that Will is SO a Hufflepuff I can't even… :}

(Also sorry if im a bit slow I have to make my lunch for School tomorrow)

(First of all, Solangelo is life, second of all, saaaaame, and Will is my hufflepuff baby and I love him.)
Will waved to his mother, who was sitting with his brother and sister, Jack and Anna. “Who’s the friend?” James asked suspiciously.
“His name’s Rykah.” Will said.

Rykah wanted to curl up in a ball, Great… more people to stare at me… his wings tensed and folded in, and his ears flattened even more under [Jack's] scrutiny, his tail twitched uncomfortably as he walked inside and placed his bag next to Will's.

Will’s sister, Anna, spoke up. “Nice to meet you, Rykah.” She stood up, and came over to the boys. She stuck her hand out for Rykah to shake.

Rykah carefully took her hand and shook it, then he stepped back his tail twitching.

(Can I just say: I love Rykah so much)
Will looked at Rykah, then nodded towards the stairs. “You boys be good.” His mother called after them. Will rolled his eyes, laughing. He lead Rykah up the stairs and into his room.

Rykah followed silently, his wings streching out behind him a bit so he wouldn't knock anything down.

Will pointed towards his brilliantly yellow bedspread, and said, “Sit down.” as he took the desk chair.

Rykah didn't know what else to do so he sat down, scooting back to sit crosslegged his tail curled around to rest on his lap, and his wings kinda went off to either side.

“Sorry about my brother. Over-protective.” Will said, his eyes dropping. He rubbed his thigh, where he knew a scar was.

I wish I had a brother…. "It's probably better than having to protect yourself all the time…." he said slowly.

“I love him, but sometimes I wish he just wasn’t so protective. I get why though…” Will said, sharing much more with Rykah then he would with anybody else. Although he loved his siblings and his parents, he would never tell them the things he was saying now.

"Uh huh," Rykah was distracted by a family picture taped to the wall, It showed Will being hugged by his mom and dad, I miss her… I miss her so much…. he couldn't help thinking about his own mother, and the pain of not knowing weather she was dead or alive….
(I am so evil….)

(Omg, that’s so terrible but so great at the same time. Poor Will. The reason that Jack is so protective makes me sad every time, even though I decided it.)
Will noticed Rykah staring at a picture on the wall. “So… you like card games?” Will asked, hoping to distract Rykah.

Rykah started at the sudden sound. "Um. yeah, sure." He said tearing his eyes away from the photo.

Will, suddenly realizing he no cards in his room, said “Hang on.” And ran across the hall to his brother a room, where he found a deck of cards on the desk. He came back and sat down on the floor, dealing out enough cards.

Rykah slipped down to the floor, picking up the cards. "What game are we playing?" He asked trying to keep the sadness of earlier from creeping into his voice.

Will immediately blushed. Jack and Anna has tried to teach him card games other than Slapjack, Go Fish, and War many times, but failed miserably. So he said “I was thinking War.”

"Ok" said Rykah.
(I dunno what war is…)

The boys played several rounds of War, both of them slowly shaking off whatever sadness had been around earlier. Eventually, a knock came at the door. As Will said come in, his brother and sister appeared in the doorway.

Rykah turned to watch them carefully, trying not to tense up like last time.

“Is HE staying for dinner?” Jack asked, quite rudely, as Anna said, “Mom wants to know if Rykah odd staying for dinner.” She said it nicely, even smiling at Rykah. Will looked at Rykah questioningly.

"Its okay I can go now" said rykah not wanting to intrude

Will said, “If you want to stay you’re welcome to!”, Anna said, “You can stay, man, Mom loves cooking.”, and Jack just glared at Rykah.

Rykah shrunk under Jack's gaze, then stood up, "no I think I'm just gonna go" he said not taking his eyes off jack as he slipped out of the room and downstairs to get his bag.

“Rykah!” Will called, following him down the stairs.
