"I take it your Rykahs new friend?" He asked turning to Will.
Rykah pulled away, reverting to his shy self because of the amount of people "Barron this is Will" ge said making the introductions "Will this is my uncle Barron."
Will smiled fondly at Rykah, before saying, “Yes, sir.” To Rykah’s uncle.
Barron nodded before yelling something to somebody. "Sorry about that. Busy job I have" he grinned sheepishly. "What do you say I get you boys back to the house before I get called to work?" He asked playfully. His pink and blue wings fluffing up a bit. Rykah nodded happily at the arrangement and Barron set off down one of the side streets.
Will found Rykah’s arm again, unsure of what to do.
Rykah gave Will a reassuring look before pulling him after Barron.
Will was pretty much stepping on Rykah the entire time they were walking, he was so close. Unlike his siblings, when he was having a panic attack or was close to one, he wanted to be close to people.
Rykah didn't mind too much that Will was staying close, after all he knew what it was like to try and adapt to a different world. Barron led them quickly down a couple of side streets, occasionally stopping to direct people or sort out an issue, or even just stop and say hello. It was pretty obvious that people here didn't mind magic, or unusual people like Rykah, and it was clear that people of all kinds were welcome. Eventually Barron led them into a small complex, and up some stairs.
Will squeezes Rykah’s arm again before letting go.
Barron finally led them to a large room, which was full of plants and people. Down in the center of the room is several creatures, and one woman on a podium, directing everything. "MOM!" Rykah lept off the balcony and flew down, running straight to the lady in the middle. Cries of delight and several hugs later and they were waving for Barron and Will to follow. Barron beckoned to a small staircase before heading down it to join Rykah and Maria.
Will smiled at his friend, going down the stairs.
Rykah was the bubblyest you could ever see him, as he told his mom about what happened, her smile glowing as she listened to her son. One of the things Rykah was babbling about most was his good friend Will.
Will waved as Rykah talked, inclining his head politely.
Rykah smiled at Will, "Mom this is my freind Will" he said Happily,
"Pleased to meet you Will" she said before responding to someone else.
"Why don't you let me handle this crowd while you catch up with Rykah" said Barron,
"Thank you Barron, I don't know what I'd do without you" said Maria, turning to see if there was a quiet spot,
Maria then beckoned for Will and Rykah to follow, leading them up a staircase and into a greenhouse gallery.
Will watched Rykah and his mother, smiling.

Later that evening Rykah and will were in Maria's living room while Barron made dinner. Maria was busy doing things in her workshop.

“This is crazy.” Will whispered, for about the millionth time since they’d gotten there.”
Rykah laughed, "My mom says that my dad had a knack for crazy," he said, "I guess I inherited it"
Will smiled weakly.
