Rykah and Will(because I can't think of a better title)

"I might not be able to control where my portals go.." said Rykah, "But my dad might be able to get you home!"

“Can he?!” Will asked excitedly. “But…. Wait….. I don’t want to leave you…”

"So I'll go with you" said Rykah, "I know I can always get back, easily enough."

Will smiled, still crying a bit. “Thank you.”

"Calm down.." said Rykah, "And then We'll go talk to my dad.."

Will pulled away, wiping his eyes.

Rykah let Will up, sitting up himself.

Will took several deep breaths. “Ok. I’m alright.”

"You sure?"

“Yeah.”

"Then let's work out a way to get you home!" he said getting to his feet and holding out a hand to Will.

Will took it, standing up. “Thank you.”

Rykah smiled, heading for the door to head down stairs.

Will followed.

Getting to the bottom of the stairs, he saw that Luma was waiting in the Living room, presumably for Maria.

Will smiled. I might be able to go home. he was trying not to get his hopes up just in case Rykah’s father couldn’t.

Luma looked up when they came down. "Rykah" he said, "Just the kid I wanted to see." he said it as he summoned a violet aura, suddenly warping them (Including Will) out to a forested area.
"Dad!" Rykah looked around for a moment in alarm.
"You ok?"
"Yeah I'm fine…" said Rykah calming down a little. "But I did wanna ask you something.."

Will absentmindedly reaches for Rykah’s hand, not totally paying enough attention to think about any problem that could cause.

"well ask away!" said Luma, catching on that something was up between Rykah and Will.
"Any chance you can open a portal to a world you've never been to?" asked Rykah, "A very specific one?"
Luma looked at him thoughtfully, "Probably," he said, "But why do you ask?"
"Will's not from here…" Rykah was about to explain when Luma cut him off.
"I get it, you kept trying to open a portal that would allow you to get to this world, but you ended up World hopping and accidentally brought Will here?" he asked.
"Yeah…" rykah didn't know how he knew, "Do you think you can get Will home?"

Will crossed his fingers behind his back, squeezing Rykah’s hand.

"Again, I can't give you any guarantees," said Luma, "But I can certainly give it a good shot." he turned thoughtfully to Will, "Do you happen to have anything on you that came from your homeworld?" he asked.

Will reached down for his show.

(No worries! But heads up I'm probably gonna put a pin in this while I figure out how to write the magic side of this endeavour believably…)

(Hopefully i can find the time this afternoon or at lunch after i figure out where my new classes are…)
