@ElderGod-Icefire

He led Kipa into one of the training rooms. This one was set up for technological training.

Kipa paused- He was good with tech. He looked around, before seeing a satellite prototype. "Is that what I think it is-?" He asked, looking up at the other, curious.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He smiled a little. "Yeah. We haven't worked on your tech stuff much, so I figured today might be a good day for it, yeah?"

Kipa smiled happily. "Okay!" He said, excitedly. He was a tech-nerd.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He reached over, powering on the computers and waiting as they got ready to begin.

Kipa hummed, waiting patiently.

@ElderGod-Icefire

As he waited for them to power on, he looked at Kipa. "I'm going to teach you how to run the basics of the computer systems. My specialty is not computers, you'll be learning more specifics with someone else, but I can teach you the basics.".

Kipa smiled happily. "Okay!" He said, sighing lightly. He was prepared for the unexpected- and confusing- parts of the technology.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He hummed a little bit, typing out a quick command to get everything booted up. "Now. These all run on the internet, but onboard ships it's mostly closed circuit, especially if said ships are moving from Earth to Mars or further. The only things on board that aren't closed circuit is any connections to Earth, and also some redundant programming designed to help with shipboard communication in an emergency. Make sense?"

Kipa smiled, and nodded. "Yep!" He said and sighed lightly. He was slightly anxious.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He nodded a little. "Good. Now, you've got your login information already, right?" He asked.

"I– Um. I mean I have my card…" He grumbled, embarrassed.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Uhm…close enough, I suppose. Can you get your card out?"

Kipa nodded, before getting his card out and handing it to the other male, humming softly.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He examined it carefully. "Okay, you see those last four digits, there?" he pointed to a string of numbers. "Your login information is the first initial of your first name, then your last name, then those four digits. Your passcode is the entire string of numbers; the first thing you're going to do after logging in is changing it to something easier to remember."

"Okay…" Kipa hummed and typed the numbers in.

@ElderGod-Icefire

The computer hummed faintly as it logged him in. "Okay, now go to settings." Quin instructed.

He went to settings, following the instructions the other gave him.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Click on security, then password. You'll have to type in your current password once, and then your new one twice."

Kipa nodded, doing the things the other told the sir to do.
He nodded, and paused.
"Now what?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Now click enter. That'll change your passcode to the new one."

@lxvender_darling language

Kipa clicked enter, and typed in a new password.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He waited, humming faintly.

Once Kipa logged in, he froze, now confused. "I- Forgot how to do this-" He muttered.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Do what?" He asked, cocking his head faintly.

language
@lxvender_darling language

"Everything-" He squeaked, a dark blush on his freckled face.
(Poor kipa lol)

@ElderGod-Icefire

"I don't understand." He said, frowning a little bit.

@lxvender_darling language

Kipa paused. "I forgot how to do the stuff after you log in- Coach told me, but I forgot. Can you help me-?" He asked, embarrassed.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Uh, yeah." He said. "You've already changed your password, right?"

language
@lxvender_darling language

"Yeah-" He muttered, looking down.
