Ambulance walked into the gas station, trying not to look too suspicious as she looked around. The owner of this place had been known to call people like her in, but this was the only close by place, and she wasn’t about to go traipsing into the city anytime soon. She quickly looked over the shelves, then grabbed a couple cans of food. She walked up and put them down on the counter, sliding a few coins across with them. The man behind it didn’t give her much mind. She slid the cans into her backpack, then walked back outside. She leaned against the building and stared out at the falling sun, trying to figure out what to do.

(wait did we ever come up with a prompt?)

Airlock at on a splintered stool, her feet propped up on a counter that was crumbling to dust. She leaned back and sighed, dizzy from the heat that scorched her lungs, and hungry from the lack of food. Her blonde hair was matted to her skin from sweat, and her jacket was tied around her waist. In a few hours, the temperature would drop drastically, and she'd be shivering, wishing for warmth. She hated it here.
