"Sounds a lot like my brother" said Firiko absentmindedly.

“Yeah…. we’ve sort of gone our separate ways…..”

"And there's where we differ" said Firiko.

Jack nodded. “We lost the only thing keeping us together, so if we’re in a room together for more than about five minutes, we go slightly ballistic. At the funeral, I burnt my hand because we were arguing so much and got distracted.”

Firiko nodded, "Sounds like my older siblings.."
funeral? what exactly happened to this guy?

Reed laughed. “That sounds like you and Anna, Jack.”

"Like I said, that either Luma and Shiara, or Damian and Frostfire" said Firiko.

Jack smiled. “Will would’ve killed us.”

Hmm.. Thought Firiko silently, Who's this Will?

“Will is-“ Jack paused, cleared his throat, and tried again. “Will was my brother.”

Firiko didn't give any reaction other than a look of sympathy.

Reed squeezed Jack’s hand, but Jack pulled away. “Anyway, why were we talking about this again?”

"i have no Idea.." said Firiko.

“Well, that was a fun conversation.” Jack said sarcastically.

Firiko turned around and focused on the trees in silence.

Jack walked a little ahead of Reed, avoiding him. “How’d you two meet?”

"I got called to the castle back in Meros capital, and was about to be sent on a scouting mission here." said Firiko

“And I had a vision, stormed into the castle, and demanded to see the king while he was there.”

"Normal circumstances for me"

Jack raised his eyebrows. “You did what?!” He asked Reed in surprise.

Firiko raised an eyebrow, turning around to watch.

“Oh, calm down.” Reed scolded.
“You’re an idiot.” Jack said.
“I know.”

Firiko just sat back and watched as the drama unfolded.

“Anyway, I’m sure your first impression of him wasn’t great then.” Jack said to Firiko.

"No worse than my first impression of my brother" said Firiko

Jack raised an eyebrow. “Right…..”

"Seriously, the first time I met my twin he was trash talking a monster while it was trying to tear his wings and arms off."

“You know, why not?” Jack said sarcastically.
