M inhaled slowly and sat back just as his waiter approached. The tiny elf named Dae greeted him with a smile, only to be interrupted with a loud banging noise from nearby. The woman had flown up to her feet, grabbing a pistol from her blouse. Little Dae squeaked and ducked under the table, and people started to clamber and scream.
“OI!” The woman screamed, raising the gun threateningly as the guy she was talking to watched. “KEEP CALM!”
The dude rose from his seat with a bag, his hands shaking lightly. “Right. Keep calm and give us your things. If there are any protests we will not be afraid to shoot you.” He made his way to the bar, where he demanded the bartender emptied out the money first. He turned to the tables, looking around at everyone.
“Where are your wallets? Get them out!” With that snap, everyone hastened to grab their wallets. Of course, except M, who did not have his wallet. The woman noticed his rather relaxed demeanor and stalked over, jerking the gun at his face.
“Get it out!”
M stuck out his tongue a little. “Don’t have it.” His voice sounded totally different than the rather afraid one he had been using. Instead it sounded half-drunk and relaxed.
