So I'm really liking this Sabrina Carpenter song.
I'm also kinda in the mood for a little girl power.
So…why not combine the ideas?
I do have a minor plot, but I need characters first.

Okay, so this is from a story I'm working on. It's the beginning to it. So yeah.

Life can change or shatter in an instant. It can cause you to have a breakdown, or it can make things better. For me, it made things worse. Only to apologize and fix everything in the end. But my life didn't start out bad. Actually, up until I was fifteen, my life was pretty good. Awesome parents. Amazing best friends. But then things starting going downhill, and well, everything became so much harder for me. And the thing that set off the explosion, that changed my life forever, is what happened on that very day, years and years ago. But I'm not gonna start there. I'm gonna start from the happy days when I thought absolutely nothing could go wrong. Boy, I was sadly mistaken. But here's my shattered, broken, but stabilized life story. I hope you enjoy the ride. I know I didn't.

it's mostly modern but there are elements tat are hard to say without showing

Name: Violet Meyers

Appearance: Violet has very pale skin. She has a small scar in the centre of her forehead shaped like a jewel. Violet's hair is mid-back length, and died purple. It is naturally black. Violet's eyes are a deep purple. If you look into them, you can see a world of pain. She also has a pair of large black angel wings that aren't natural.
Style: Violet's style is simple. Grey shirt, black easy-to-move-in pants and black block heeled boots. She will sometimes add a black or dark grey cardigan. Anything she wears allows her to use her wings.
Personality: If you don’t know her, she will not be extremely nice. She tries to hide her past and shows her friends a happy side. She dislikes telling people about her past and will block you if you ask when she doesn’t trust you.
Likes: Her magic, her friends, her wings
Dislikes: That she can’t kill herself, her father
Background: Violet’s dad was obsessed with dark magic before his death. With Violet's mother out of the picture after her murder, he turned to her. He tested it on her frequently. When she was 11, he presented her with a jewel, that at the time she didn’t know, held all his magic. He pinned her down and attached the jewel to her head. Pitch black wings sprouted from her back, and she left with extremely magic and the curse of the inability to kill herself. Still then, he practiced magic on her. When Violet reached 18, she was sick of it and ripped the jewel from her forehead. This killed her father and left her with a scar. Her power was also weakened greatly.
Power/s: Mild variation of chaos magic (basically a weaker version of scarlet witch). This includes -
Reality warping; Magic probability manipulation; Teleportation; Matter manipulation; Time manipulation; Energy projection, manipulation and absorption. In moments of anger and desperation they are extremely powerful.
She is also unable to kill herself. She can only be killed by someone else. However much she doesn’t want to die, she refuses to let someone kill her, as she doesn’t want them to have the burden on her murder on their hands.

Appearance: Brown hair with blonde highlights, the bottom of her hair is dyed magenta, navy blue eyes that can pierce the soul (original eye color), tan-ish colored skin, around her eye is burnt, and there's a star-shaped birthmark on her wrist
Style: Navy blue t-shirt, black easy-to-move-in pants, and black sneakers. (she mostly wears dark colors, but sometimes wears bright colors too.)
Personality: Paranoid, doesn't trust easy, depressed, when you get to know her you'll find that she's caring, has a weird sense of humor and a little sociopathic.
Likes: Her friends, her siblings, her powers, training, etc.
Dislikes: People who smile too much, what happened to her parents, and the people who killed her parents.
Background: She had a wonderful childhood, until one day she was about six years old, her family and her were ambushed. Her parents ended up dying in the attack, but her and her two brothers and one sister, barely, made it out alive. She has the guilt weighing down on her every day and wishes she had died that day instead of them.
Power/s: Telekinesis, the power of the elements (water, earth, fire, air),. Her eyes change color depending on her mood, and if the emotion is powerful her eyes glow. (That doesn't do anything other than show her mood).

Violet sat in a bar, feet on the table in the corner of the room. Her hand was covered in an aura of scarlet magic, and she watched it. She glanced up, she could see men eyeing her off. Whether it was her looks or her magic, she didn't care. Her purple eyes flashed scarlet for a split second, a warning sign. She watched the door, waiting for Kassidy.

Just then the door bursts open, causing everyone's attention to turn toward it, and in walks Kassidy. She looks around, looking for someone, and stops when she sees Violet. She starts walking toward her when someone stops her, by grabbing her arm. To which she twists their arm behind their back, to find that it's just an accident and they were just looking for someone. She lets go and makes her way over to Violet. Once she gets there, she sits down across from her, resting her elbow on the table.

"Hey," Kassidy states in a calm, almost bored, voice.

"Hey," She replied, her voice monotone. Her violet eyes had trailed Kassidy as she came in, and now they wandered around the bar. It was amazing what she could find out about people simply from looking at them. She felt pressure beside her and a weight of an arm across her shoulder. "Fuck. Off."
"Oh, come one sweety. I just wanna hang." The man's voice was dripping with alternate intentions.
"I have huge black wings and reality warping powers. My father was Daniel Meyers, and I killed him. Do you wanna mess with me?"

(everyone knows her dad cause they were scared of him, he was really powerful)

"Yeah, back off man," Kassidy commands, her voice sounding almost demonic, as her eyes start to glow a bright red.

"Calm down, Kassidy. I can handle myself."
"Oh, I'm just try'na socialise with such a pretty girl."
"I will kill you from the inside out," Indi hissed, her hand glowing bright scarlet.
"OK, OK. I'll leave you alone."
"Good choice."

Kassidy's eye return to their normal color, and she calms down. That is until someone taps her shoulder, and returning her to her angry state.

"What!?" her voice shouts, as demonic as it was before.

But it's just someone with a drink for her.

"Here," they state calmly as if Kassidy hadn't just gone full demon on them, and then they walked away.

Her eyes once again return to their normal color and she looked back at Violet.

(i'm kinda confused….why does she go 'demon'? its nowhere in her bio, and shouldnt be in this world that ive made)

(It's how she acts. She doesn't actually go demon. She just acts demonic sometimes, so she calls it her demon mode. It basically when she gets really angry.)

"You need to calm down," Violet said to Kassidy. "Not everyone is going to try and kill you. Sure, people will prey on you, but you need to handle it suitably."

"Okay," Kassidy states as she begins to calm down.

Then she begins to pick her cup up and hold it toward her mouth to take a sip.

"No, like in general. You get angry too easily." She slid out of the booth, standing up. "Come on, drink quickly. We're going." She grabbed her beer bottle by the rim of the bottle.

"Okay, okay I'm hurrying," She states in a complaining kind of tone, as she chugs her drink and stands up following Violet.

Violet started to walk out of the bar, not waiting to see if Kassidy was actually following. She flicked her hand, and the lights burst, flooding the bar with darkness. Only her eyes stood out, glowing a soft scarlet.

Kassidy follows Violet out, ignoring the fact that the entire place just went dark.

"We, my fine friend, are going to the car yard." Violet pulled a cigarette from her chef and lighted it, putting it in her mouth with a puff of smoke. "Let's go."

"Fine by me." She says as starts walking in the direction of the car yard.

"Of course you're fine with it, you follow me like a puppy," Violet replied, blowing smoke from her mouth. She didn't mean it in a bad way, it just seemed that Kassidy basically followed her everywhere and did what she said.

I do not-. I do, don't I?" She states with a chuckle.

"I'm not saying it's a bad thing," She laughed softly. "I get it, though. I'm the only one who doesn't really mind your past. You know, cause mine was just as bad."
