Seth giggles warmly as he eats the ice cold treat. "This is delicious." He scoops the rest into his mouth before tossing it aside and leaping from the fridge to the floor. "Hello, I'm Seth. Your guardian demon." He says happily.
Grayson was pressed up against the door, frozen in fear as the stared up at the demon. “That..that’s not..that’s not a thing.” He stammered, gripping the doorknob so tight his knuckles were turning white. He flinched as Seth jumped down from the fridge, squeezing his eyes shut. “If you’re going to hurt me just get it over with and leave.” He blurted out quickly.
Seth gazes at the terror stricken male before sighing and rolling his eyes before sighing. "I'm not going to hurt you, dummy." he says slowly as he gazes at the other before sighed and smiled gently. "I'm Seth." He says softly as he smiles. "I ain't gonna hurt you."
Grayson opened his eyes slowly, loosening his grip slightly on the doorknob. “What are you doing in my apartment?” He whimpered, tears gathering in his eyes from the shock.
"Well. Based on recent activity, you've had some major rough patches. I wanted to get out of hell. When I saw an opportunity I took it. Angels are so fast. I hate them." He huffed before smiling warmly. He tilted his head. "Why are you crying?"
“I don’t know..” Grayson muttered, “It just happens. Why are you even here? I don’t need help or anything.” He questioned quietly, wiping at his eyes. “Plus aren’t you supposed to be evil?” He stayed put where he was, looking down at the floor but occasionally glancing up at Seth nervously.
He smiled a little bit. "Yes, I'm aware that things happen, but I want to be here." He hummed as he tapped his lips. "And I'm kinda just here to make sure you're safe." he says happily. "Evil? I'm offended. I'm more of a chaotic neutral." He shrugs before sighing. "Look. Being Satan's son isn't as fun as you would think. I needed to get out of there." He sat down. "If I were going to harm you, I would have already done it. I'm just here to protect you."
“I am safe.” He argued, shifting anxiously. “I don’t need protecting, especially from a demon. And why are you so desperate to leave Hell. It’s not much better up here.” Grayson felt like curling up into himself. He felt so vulnerable at the moment.
He sighed softly. "I just want to help… Being born in hell, I never got a chance here… I just… I wanna be here. At least try and live a normal life. Or just you know, help someone out. I'm not that bad… I think." He sighed and settled down in front of Grayson.
Grayson slid down to the floor with his knees up against his chest. Sitting like this felt safer, better than standing up. “Why me though?”
"I dunno." He shrugs a little. "I wanted to help. Or something." He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "I guess I'll just return to hell then…" Seth did not want to return to that godforsaken place. He was so lonely there, and most people hated him just because he was the son of the devil. He chuckles sadly.
Grayson peered over his knees at Seth, squinting his eyes as he thought. Seth looked so sad. Maybe he wouldn’t be so bad, or maybe he would be. He is from Hell after all..
“You can stay.” Grayson said, not shifting his gaze. He could do with a roommate, and Seth just happened to appear.
Seth looked up and smiled a little bit. "Thanks I guess." he chuckles as he gazes at the other. "You're not so bad… for a mortal." he chuckles softly and settles into himself and sighed with relief. At least he wouldn't be stuck going back to the underworld.
Grayson sunk further behind his knees so only his eyes were visible. “You’ve only known me for ten minutes. How did you get in here? And how do you know what I’ve been going through?”
"Ah. Soul thing. I can sense souls in distress. And I teleported in here." He chuckles softly as he settles onto a seat. "So, I just kinda came to make sure that you were okay."
“I’m sure there are a lot of souls in distress. Mine must be at the bottom of the list.” Grayson murmured, thinking this over. A demon, an actual demon, was in his apartment. Just sitting on the floor, talking to him.
"There are. But you intrigued me." he shrugs helplessly before smiling at the other with a relaxed expression. He hummed happily.
Grayson’s frown turned into a suspicious glare. “Why? Out of seven billion people, why am I the one that intrigued you?” He shivered slightly, wishing he could grab his hoodie from upstairs.
