(Yes! I love that! Maybe just keep it to wolves and vamps for now? Btw great show!)
Val’s heart broke when she heard only Min’s sister mentioned and not his. she had to look away from the woman to regain composure “ah yes. I’m Seo Hyeon’s friend as well, I just hear more about you from Min. Sorry for that. Is it okay if I stay a while? I know you don’t get many visitors other than your daughter and her…friend.” She looked the woman over, sadness clouding into her eyes. How could any human do something like this to such a beautiful lady. Not just appearance wise but soul and heart as well. Val could sense the immense love this woman held as well as the great sorrow and sadness. She kept her hand in the older woman’s “tell me about yourself. Your daughter and so…friend don’t really tell me much. I get why though.”
Sick of Cliches but you’re my only exception. //Closed//

(I KNOW RIGHT!!!)
Min-Hyuk took a deep breath and tightened his fist, trying to calm down. Soon he started to follow the scent of his own car and Nathan who most likely reeked of alcohol. He didn't leave too long ago as his scent was quite prominent still. He got lucky. Well… Not Nathan.
As he got further he feared he knew where he was but he pushed aside his feelings and fear and followed the trail.
"oh! Min as in Min-Hyuk? What a darling boy he is. Whoever raised him raised him right" she says kindly. "how is he by the way? He hasn't been coming as often. Oh, I'm sure that lovely boy has plenty of friends. He's most likely busy" she laughed
(Ahhhh yus! Btw would like to be Nathan?)
Val smiled softly “he’s alright for now. I don’t know him that well. I only started going to school for a few weeks now, but he seems like a great kid, despite his sometimes pissy attitude.” She laughed softly “he’ll come and see you soon, don’t worry.” She nodded reassuringly and glanced around the room, feeling slightly tense. “Has anyone else come and seen you Miss Youn?”
group
(wait are you saying you want to me Nathan? If so I would have to give you a full on run down of his personality and such)
She let out a sigh, "well I'm glad he's gotten a friend. Take care of the poor boy. I can tell he's hurt" she says giving the girls hand a soft squeeze. "oh, um no. Wait, yes. My husband" she says with a soft smile, a fake one. "he was in the crash and his arm got broken. I guess he came here to tell me it was better" she smiled, lying straight through her teeth. She didn't see the point in telling her anything about Nathan other than Good things. Even if he hurt her constantly, she loved him. That was how she was. Nomatter how much someone hurt her she still loved them. Like a puppy.
Min-Hyuk chased his scent down to the barn. The barn?
He stopped, panting at the fence he leaned on with his eyebrows creased together. What was he doing there?
Soon he noticed something. A flame.
His eyes widened and his heart stopped. He was burning the barn down… No
Running up to the building, he approached the figure standing in the middle of the barn as the fire spread.
"what the fuck!?" he hissed, looking at him then around to the barn.
"I know what you are." the man smiled.
"SO THAT MEANS BURN THIS PLACE DOWN? ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE?" Min yelled at him.
"Nah, I just wanted to cause you pain before I cut your head off" Nathan scowled, a long thick knife in his hand
(Ah Sorry! I was asking if you wanted me to be Nathan,)
Val nodded “I’ll try my best.” She promised, squeezing her hand back.
Val listened to how Mrs Youn talked about Nathan and his arm. Val gritted her teeth slightly to keep a growl down. how could this woman love a man like that? One that constantly abused and hurt her to no end. And on top of that hurt her kids as well? she took a deep breath and stood. “Excuse me for a moment. I need to take a call.” She offered a small smile and stepped outside the room to call Chire.
“Hey, everything alright?”
“I feel off Chire, something’s not right. Has Min found Nathan yet?”
“kinda. Ash texted a few minutes ago saying that he and his group shifted to the north end of town. They say they followed Min to a barn and field just on the outskirts. They can’t get too close though, they smell fire.”
“Fire? At the barn?” Val covered her mouth to keep in a strangled breath.
group
(yeah it's fine! Lol)
(also, she doesn't know that Nathan hurts her kids too. She thinks it's like compensation if that makes sense. The more she gets beat the less her kids will get hurt.)
Min-Hyuk stepped forward, dodging a peice of flaming wood as it hurtled to the floor. This place was his only safe place he could go to and now it's being burnt to the ground.
And he knew..
"Oh come on. Tell me you didn't expect it. I knew you went here all the time. I was just plotting your murder right here" the man smiled, throwing a glass bottle at him, which he caught with quick reflexes and threw it over his shoulder. He hated the sound of breaking glass. He had plenty of PTSD already. The sound making him flinch, he took a breath only to cough on the smoke.
Min-Hyuk caught a glimpse of the blade in Nathans hand and cursed.
"a hunter Huh?" his voice growled.
"wow, I'm surprised! I thought you would have known sooner." a menacing laugh came from his mouth. His breath reeking if alcohol and his eyes bloodshot.
"well I'm not gonna sit here and chit chat. I've got a vampire to kill" he cackled before bolting forward as Min did the same.
(sorry if this may not be the best writing, I legit just woke up lol)
(Oh oki I see, and don’t worry it’s fine!)
“Val, stay there. You need to keep his mom safe in case Nathan comes.”
“Ok.”
“He’s going to be fine, we have wolves down there with him.”
“K”
Val backed back to Mrs Youn’s side and took her hand again, now for her own reassurance than anything else. he’a going to be ok…stop worrying.
The wolves shifted but stayed in the shadows of the field, concealed by the darkness of the night. The inches forwards every time they heard a yell or growl but didn’t make a move, fearing that they’d get in between something too brutal.
group
Dodging his movements and trying to get to him, he was truly an experienced hunter. He's fought them before but this was different. How did he not know? Yeah, he purposely didn't pay attention to Nathan and whenever he hurt his family it was when he was gone on a hunt so he didn't go crazy.
Slamming against the concrete floor of the barn, ash falling into his eyes and face, into the cut wounds on his arms and face.
A slash on his side stung like hell, but he tried his best to ignore that.
The blade held to his pale neck, drawing blood, his vision clouded with ash and smoke and his sense covered by the smoke and the cackling of the flames. All he had was his strength and sense of touch.
Pushing him off, sending Nathan flying, hitting a peice of wood to his back and groaning in pain. This bastard was smarter than he let on. Clouding almost all of his senses like this plus destroying the only place he considered a safe place.
Standing up, he tried not to mind the stinging pain of the thick cut on his neck. It definitely didn't cut deep enough for him to bleed out but man did it hurt.
"I'm gonna tear you to fucking shreds you got that" Min-Hyuk scoffed before he seemingly disappeared, but he was only too fast. Appearing right in front of the man as he stabbed at him, his shoulder bleeding a bit too much for comfort.
His hand went to punch him…in the chest?
No, it pierced his chest and broke his ribs, ripping straight to his heart before he ripped it out and threw it into the fire which surrounded them now. It would be more than dangerous trying to get out.
The pure anger gushing through his veins, his eyes showed no mercy or human in them. The smell of blood made him basically go crazy, though he kept it in. Not for long though. (because he's an angsty boi)
The mans eyes went wide as he trying to stab him till his last breath. And succeeding some. Stabbing the blade into his arm, just missing the bone before he fell to the ground.
From their Min basically went blind, taking the blade out and stabbing the corpse over and over again, yelling curses as tears fell down his face. No, not just fell. They flooded his eyes until they broke out. Sheer pain and anger in his cracking voice as he yelled over the flames. Blood covering his clothes, splattering on his face. Not daring to drink his blood.
Stopping only when the man was unrecognizable, as you could barely even tell it was a human once.
The vampire stood and peered at the "audience" watching from afar, his eyes red now, reflecting the flames perfectly.
This was what a true monster looked like. Beauty mixed with pain beyond what anyone could imagine, sheer anger and bloodlust.
He was a monster. The only thing he hoped for now was for Val to not see him like this. But most likely her brother would call her over.
He sighed, staying in the fire, letting the heat surround him. It felt nice for once. The heat. It felt like a big hug. That would be a good way to go… Right?
(this bois gonna kill himself if nobody intervenes by the way)
group
(I'm thinking maybe Val kind of convinces his not to Ya know.. Die. They're your characters, but I'm guessing the rest of the pack doesn't care about Min or give a crap about saving them. Idk, you can do what you want.)
(i got chu don't worry XD)
(Min went all mortal combat on nathan jeez dude)
She glanced down at a sleeping Mrs Youn and slipped out of the room, her heart sinking like lead She couldn't stay here, not with the smell of rubbing alcohol and the faraway screams of anguished patients. She called Ash and made her way to the for. "Switch with me, I can handle myself to there."
Ash shifted back and picked up the call "he's dead, Your vampire killed him. he doesn't look too good, his eyes..he's in a hysteria. He needs help but I don't think he'll let any of us get near him without a fight."
Val's heart pounded in her chest as she shoved through the door "What make you think I can calm him down, he's more likely to kill me for trying."
"Don't think so, he needs something and it's not blood or revenge." He glanced around at his wolves, holding out a hand to signal them to stay back. "He burnt it down Val, The one the vamp was after, he burnt it all down."
"I know, oh gods..I'm on my way. Tell Chire," she let the call drop before running off, in a few bound she shifted into her wolf form, amber eyes glowing bright in the night. She slowed to a trot once she was near the field, nodding her head to the wolves who had retreated back in fear for their lives. She nodded once to Ash who then bounded off to the hospital. Val watched him go before slowly making her way to the burning barn. She picked her way carefully around the fallen beams and looked around. She sat down, whimpering softly as she carefully scanned the area for min.
group
(yeaaaah he does that quite a bit actually)
The vampire was in the middle of the barn as it continued to collapse around him, fire and ash rising up to the sky. The fire department would surely be notified of this.
He didn't have to worry about the body now though, as it would have been burnt to ash. As he already basically crushed his bones.
Stepping back when he noticed Val, he cursed under his breath.
"what're you doing here?" he asked, his voice shaky. The pain visible through his eyes as the fire burned closer to his skin. (honestly, love this scene)
"you…-" he stopped, choking back a sob before he turned around. Like hell he was going to let her come into this fire. But if she did he would protect her.
Val let out a bark and then a growl, eyes flashing in the flickering light of the flame. No way was she going to come into the depths of a burning building for Min to turn his back on her. She crouched low as a beam fell close to their standing position then. She returned her attention back to min a stared in awe. How could someone so dangerous, so deadly, surround by something equally as deadly be so horrifyingly beautiful. She shook herself with another growl and jumped to his side, yelping slightly as she jumped a little too far and fire licked at her fur. She snuffed out her burning fur on the dusty floor and nudged Min's arm gently, smelling the stench of blood around him. She glanced around for an exit, finding one near the back of the barn where the wall had fallen in.
group
"Val, get the hell out. You're going to get yourself killed" he snapped at her, though noticing the fire close to her fur. He scowled and sighed, stepping closer to her.
"are you alright?" he asked, reaching to touch her but noticing all if the blood and ash on him. He looked like a monster to her didn't he? The last thing he wanted at the moment.
Retracting his hand and letting it fall to his side. "s-sorry" he says softly, a tear falling down his pale cheek, dripping and mixing with the blood. His shirt torn in multiple places as he took his hoodie off before hand. No way was he going to ruin another hoodie.
Bloody, deep cuts running along his skin, though it was hard to tell what blood what his and what wasn't other than the obvious slit in his neck.
She gently nudged his shoulder with her head. letting him know it was fine, she had seen worse. He tugged at his shirt and stood, walking in a circle before tilting her head up to the opening of the barn. Val let out a soft 'awoo' and nudging her nose into his hand, ignoring the smell of coppery blood and the cuts on his arm and chest. Instead she focused on comforting Min for now, hoping to urge him into a walk.
group
He let out a breath, the smell of his normal "manly" lavender (yes, the thats thing. A literal thing and it's hilarious) now gone.
Looking over to her, he made his way out of the barn, not wanting to at all. Hopefully the basement of this place was alright. Probably.
Once he stepped out of the barn, he made sure Val was alright. He still couldn't see quite clearly, but he sensed it was her.
The white of his eyes were a black grey and the veins around his eyes were dark and sickly.
"why…. Why are you here?" he says leaning on her a bit.
Once out of the barn Val lead him a little farther away just to be safe, pressing against his side as she felt his weight on her. She glanced around before nudging Min off and shifting back to normal. She coughed a few times, trying to relieve her lungs of the smoke before answering. "I called Ash to make sure everything was alright and he told me what happened. He told me you didn't move from the fire and that you were too dangerous for any of the other wolves to get close. So we switched places. he's with your mother while came here to get you out of there. I thought I told you to not to die." HS emend down, bracing her selves on her knees as she tried to cough out the rest of the smoke.
"Min what happened?" she asked softly, glancing up at him in concern "and don't you dare tell me nothing." she added with a slight growl
group
He wanted to help her with the smoke, but there was nothing he could really do. He was quite used to smoke in his lungs, so it didn't effect him quite as much.
"Val… why did you think that was a good idea?" he growled "if I were too dangerous for the pack of Wolves then what the hell makes you think I'm too dangerous to you?" he says holding back his harsh words. As he could have said a lot more. But he didn't dare. He wasn't going to let his anger take control of him. Not now.
When her final question came around he paused, feeling a bit threatened.
"what happened? You mean why I didn't move? Why I didn't flee out of the damn place? Because Val, I want nothing more than to die" he hissed, his voice genuin, sharp and full of pain as it cracked on the last word.
She sat down in the grass, needing to feel something cool against her “cuz you promised me you wouldn’t hurt me.” She said softly, knowing it was a stupid thing to trust.” She tilted her head In his direction when he said he wanted to die. “die? die? Min you’ve died before. You already had that terrible experience! You’re willing to do again for what? Cuz the world will be better off? Cuz you have nothing here to live for?” She pulled her legs to her chest and shook her head “you’re wrong. You’re dead wrong.” She narrowed her eyes at him “if you truest wanted to die you wouldn’t have let me take you out of there, promise or not. You would have fought your way to the grave.”
group
He scoffed, turning around to face the barn before whipping around back to the girl, clenching his fist.
"yeah maybe you're right. I don't want to die. I just want it to be over. I'm tired" he sighed, raking his bloody hands through his hair, though realizing what he had done and cursing under his breath. (the boy likes his hair Lol)
"I'm easily replaceable Val. Go find. Yourself another Vampire to fall in love with you" he says in a harsh tone, not really realizing what he had just said. He meant it though. He just…. Is dense like that.
"I want it to be over. I was going to die there if you didn't intervene. I was ready. Ready to go meet the Fucking reaper themselves. For the second time" he added with a sigh.
"why do you care anyway Huh? Why would you care for me? I'm this monster who kills for a living. Innocent people Val. For my own profit. So I can live. That's messed up and you know it. I'm a good for nothing peice of shit who deserves to die. So why won't you let me huh?"
She snapped her head to focus on him, her eyes sharp and wild, a low growl escaping her by accident “My feelings for you whether they are true to what you say or not have nothing to do with this.”
She stood slowly, now just as angry as him.”no one is replaceable Min. If they were so replaceable no one would care if anyone lived or died. you wouldn’t care if anyone lived or died. Your friend, your sister, your mother. Are they replaceable? Would you care if they died?”
She turned away from him and walked a few yards off, breathing becoming harder.
She could argue with him about the blood drinking, all vampires had to kill to live. There was no getting around that unless they were willing to drink animal blood.
“Why won’t I let you die? Same reason I told you before. There are those out there, despite what you may think, who do want and need you alive. Don’t believe me?” She shrugged, too tired to argue anymore. “Look around you Min. There are people in this world that care about you. You just have to open your eyes. I can’t do that for you.”
She walked off to meet the other, occasional coughing fits would rise out of her. Chire had joined them, having heard that Nathan was dead and was now at Val’s side, rubbing her back.
group
(so I was thinking maybe vampires cant drink animal blood and that's why they're forced to drink human blood? So it makes them a forced monster. IDK, I've always thought of them kind of like ghouls. Wait, have you seen Tokyo ghoul? If not that's fine too lol)
He stood still and listened to her, pursing his lips shut not willing to talk.
When she mentioned her feelings being involved he was a bit taken a back. He had basically said that he had fallen in love with her. Cursing himself under his breath when he realized, he had hoped she didn't think about his words much more. Because If she did she was sure to understand what he had meant.
He let the girl walk away, not believing a single word she said. He wasn't to believe it but he just couldn't. He wanted to so badly. It's not that he couldn't bring himself to Believe it. But he just couldnt.
Looking back at everyone else as he stepped their way, he nodded a thank you towards them and turned back to the burning building.
(oh ok! I see what you're saying, sorry about that. No but it on my list of anime to watchXD)
(Man I'm bad at picking up signals…XP)
Chire spotted him as Min stepped forwards and trotted to him, leaving val with the others once he had made sure she was alright. Shifting hallway to Min he slowed to a walk, following Min to the burning barn.
"Leaving so soon?" he asked with a tilted his head. He glared up at the building, amber eyes similar to his sister's flashing in the light of the fire
"My sister just pulled you out of that hell hole and you're planning to go back in? really." he glared playfully at him ad shook his head "she cares about you min. More than I've ever seen her care for an outsider. She won't say it to you, not yet but she does feel something for you. otherwise she wouldn't have helped, or would have left you alive this long."
group
He turned his cold gaze to him, his eyes still a burning red mixed with the reflective white.
"she didn't pull me out. I would have gotten out anyway. I didn't need her help" he shook his head. He wasn't about to tell this pissy pup that he was about to kill himself. (I love Chire, that's just what mins calling him I'm so sorry)
He stayed quiet for the rest up until the end. He was so confused as to why and how she cared for him. Since when did someone actually care for him?
But he covered up his emotions with the usual tsunudere mojo.
"oh please, even if she wanted to kill me she couldn't. I've taken down your kind stronger than her easy" he scoffed, rolling his eyes. He forgot that Chire didn't know the reason he killed one of his kind so he was a bit prepared to be punched.
(lol it's okay! and thanks!)
He shook his head "right, sure you could have. You could have also died in a fire, leaving behind a family and killing nathan off essentially for nothing."
He stopped short when he mentioned killing other wolves, the image of when he had found his mother trying to fight off a vampire playing clearly in his mind. But now, instead of his mother and a vampire stranger it was his little sister and Min. He shifted mid step and launched himself at Min, head butting him in the chest and pinning him to the ground. He let out a low, deep growl and dug his claws in Min's shoulders, hoping to cause some pain but not to fully injure him. He bared his teeth close to his face and growled again before shoving himself off and stalking in a small circle, trying to shake his more wild instincts off so as to not kill the kid. After a bit, he shifted back, eyes golden with flecks of green
"i don't know the reasoning if you have one behind that situation but never mention killing another wolf in front of this pack again, got it?"
group
He was fully expecting him to punch him in the face, not to launch himself at him. His head slammed on the ground making him a little dizzy. With all of these stab wounds already dealt to him, he was already bleeding out. He didn't need a wolf on top of him. But he didn't resist. Instead when the wolf got off, he stood.
"next time you do that I'll rip your arm off. Don't test me. I have my reasons for the things I do and the wolves I kill. If it were you, you wouldn't have batted an eye to do what I did." he hissed before coughing up some blood. Well more than some blood.
"go to hell" he says sharply before walking away casually. He really wasn't in the mood for this. His body already hurt enough and he needed to stop this bleeding before he actually did die.
"And I have reasons to do the same" Chire growled, heading the other way back towards his pack. "I probably wouldn't." he murmured under his breath as he nodded for the wolves to get ready to leave. He knew what other wolves were capable of doing, and some, he did admit deserve the fate that awaited them. He knew he shouldn't have attacked Min but he was never really himself when it came to someone attacking a wolf, even the near suggestion agitated him. he glanced back to make sure min wasn't going towards the fire again. he could hear distant sirens approaching and urged the group to move to the forest.
"Val can you call Ash to meet us back home?"
Val nodded and pulled out her phone, glancing back to where Min was before starting to walk off
group
He let out a sigh before turning around and looking at Val, catching her eye before he watched her turn her back and walk away.
He stood there for a bit longer, thinking over everything. What would his litter sister think of this? No way was he going to tell her that he hacked her step father to unrecognizable peices and burnt his body. Or what was left of it.
Before he could let her leave, he hollered her name "hey, Val!" he called over to her, staying where he was.
Val finished the call with Ash, telling him to return back to the woods once he was done talking with Mrs Youn. She looked back when her named was called then up at Chire. He glared up as well, cleaning not in a good mood before nodding to her. “Zizi will be waiting at the border for you.” He said softly, hugging her tight before catching up to the others and heading back to the territory.
She turned and faced Min but made no move to go towards him. She just stood there waiting with a small tilt of her head, her eyes shining bright in the fire light
group
He watched the interactions, not being able to still see them clearly because of the ash in his eyes. And man did it burn. Due to that his eyes naturally watered up, black and grey tears falling from his face. He decided that was the first thing he was going to do when he got home. Get this stupid ash out of his eyes.
When Val turned to him but didn't move, he just shrugged and took a step forward. Then another and another till he was in front if her. He was still a little awkward with talking to a wolf… But he couldn't do anything about it and he wasn't going to tell her his preference, so he kept his mouth shut about that.
He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly as he shuffled his feet, taking in a breath to say something.
"h-hey?"new let out a small nervous laugh
She arched an eyebrow slightly and slowly reached up to wipe away a tear that was sliding down Min’s cheek. “Hey,” she replied softly. She tilted her head to the side. She took his hand in hers and tugged him into a walk back towards town. She didn’t say much, only pulled him along to the hospital. She smiled to the nurse and nodded in thanks as they allowed her back in again. She stopped by the door of Mrs Youn and peeked her head in. She smiled softly and turned back to Min. “Go see her,”
