"mhm, tell me about them. How have they been? What's new?" She shrugged and pressed a kiss to his head, tugging a blanket over the both for warmth. "Maybe it'll take your mind off of Nathan for now. If not your family then maybe something else." She bunched her lips to the side in thought. "Anything really, I like finding more about you." He glanced down at min and gently brushed a finger along hisbbriw, her attempt to erase his worry. "I wish I knew how to help you more, this is probably making it worse, sorry." She murmured softly, resting her head against one of the many pillows on her bed

Min kept his arm around her waist as he thought about it, appreciating the thought. Though sadly she knew as much as he did when it came to new things.
"My sister doesn't know I killed him…" He says with a sigh, "sorry you were trying to get my mind off of him" he says cursing himself under his breath.
He sat up to look up at her "You're alright. You're doing your best. I don't even deserve it" he says softly, looking back down to the bed.

Val nodded slightly "yeah, I was but you're right, that's not something I knew." She gave a slight laugh and sighed. "I kinda get why you haven't told her yet. You want to keep her as far away from that as possible, no matter how much it hurts you. I'd do the same for Chire if I knew it'd keep him safe and free from harm." She shifted slightly and looked up at him as he sat up. She sat up with him and gently slid her hand along his cheek, tilting his head up. "Min, do you honestly think I care whether you deserve help or not? It's not something that you deserve or don't deserve. Whenever you need help, I hope you can come to me for it, and if not, the that you at least gontobsonone you trust for help. Never do I ever want you to feel as if you aren't worthy of help or advice or anything." She said, slight desperation in her voice.

Min held his eyes to hers, biting the inside of his bottom lip as he listens to her. He leans his face into her touch, not wanting to leave. She made him feel safe. Not as paranoid or fearful. Not as cold and anxious. Only the warmth of her love and the safety in her arms. Though he felt it was his job to protect her, he knew she would do a better job of it.
He takes a deep breath and nods, looking down to her lips, then back up to those gorgeous eyes. "Thank you" he says, his hand going to hers on his cheek as he presses a soft kiss to her palm.
What else should he say to that other than to thank her. He had so much to be thankful for to her and he wasn't going to ignore that face. He knew she didn't deserve this. But he was afraid to say anything, not wanting to.hurt her in any of his selfishness. As he knew he already hurt her enough.
Though he couldn't help.but wondering why she stayed and insisted on helping him.

Val released absigh of relief, relaxing visibly into his hand. A light blush rose to her cheeks at the kiss. She could still see that something was troubling Min on a deeper level, more than what he was letting on but she wasn't sure just how much she'd be able to help with any of this. What would be better is if they could find someone that Min trusted or at least felt comfortable enough to talk to. But that could all wait until morning. "Go get dressed before Chire comes in here and finds you in my bed with nothing but a towel covering you." He leaned in close and pressed a kiss to his cheek before gently nudging him. She stood as well and folded the air mattress back up, not really wanting to fill it now since it was so late. She threw off the stuffed animals and pillows littering the bed and settled to one side, leaving enough space for Min to sleep.

Min sits up and looks up at her with sleepy eyes as she stood.
Normally he would make more of an inappropriate joke or say something stupid like "You're brother just wishes he could get some of me too"
But he was too emotionally limp to joke at the time.
Min-Hyuk stands, one hand on the towel "alright. I'm pretty sure I left the clothes in the bathroom" he says, stepping out of the room and into the hall, keeping an eye out for Chire. Though they've done nothing, he felt like her brother wouldn't like him coming out of her bedroom in just a towel around his waist. And he was sure Chire had smelled the blood too. Surprised he didn't rush up here at the scent
Finally when Val was satisfied with the bed situation, she bounced out and headed back downstairs once more to check on her brother. She glanced around the now pitch black first floor, sniffing slightly to make sure it was just Chire's scent in the area. She eventually found her brother sprawled out on the couch in his wolf form, sound asleep. She smedbsoftly and pressed ankiss to his muzzled, earning her a half-hearted lick on the cheek. She found a throw blanket and tossed it over him before going back upstairs and curling up in her bed, the heavy covers wrapped around her shoulders as she read for a bit while she waited for Min to dress

Min closes the door behind him in the bathroom, dropping the towel and slipping on the pants and shirt Val had set out for him. The shirt being a bit big on him but he didn't care.
He leans on the sink for a second, his eyes avoiding the mirror.
He didn't let his thoughts wander again for too long before stepping out of the bathroom and into her room, softly closing the door behind him.
"Hey" he says quietly, his voice scratchy as usual.
Val glanced up from her book and smiled softly, patting the spot beside her. "Hey." She laughed softly, seeing him in her oversized clothes she usually used as PJ's. "Never knew I'd find you in attractive in anything but black. Glad I was wrong." She set her book aside and stretched her arms out in an offered embrace, the fluffy blanket around her falling over her head and arms, burying her in it's warmth and comfort. "Are ya gonna sleep tonight?"

He offers a small chuckle, his face would have heated up to a soft blush if it could.
Min lays down with her, wrapping his arms around her waist.
"Sleep? Ya know…I hope not" he says, though stopping and realizing how suggestive that sounded. Though he didn't really know how to explain himself much.
Val arched an eyebrow in question and settled beside him, hand resting against his chest. "So you're gonna watch me sleep all night?" She let out a laugh and shook her head "I'm starting to see some similarities, my vampire." She teased, pressing a kiss to his nose. She toyed with his hair, lightly wrapping a strand around her finger. "Do you need anything in case you get bored or something?" She asked softly, lightly stroking the bridge of Min's nose

Min scoffs "I'm not a Cullen" he rolls his eyes "im fine. I'll sleep." He states with a heavy sigh "and if I do get bored I'm not gonna watch you sleep. That's freaky" he laughs, running his hand through her hair and tucking a piece behind her ear.
He didn't particularly like sleeping since he could only get a few hours in a week and all dreams he had was unsettlingly realistic nightmared of any and all sorts, forcing himself away.
He was sure she didn't know that so he wasn't going to let her in on that. Seeing it as yet another thing to burden her with.
"Are you going to be able to.sleep?" He asks, looking softly into her gaze.
Val was glad she could make him smile and laugh, even if it only lasted a few moments. She leaned into the gentle touches, raising her hand to leave with his. She nodded slightly and pressed a kiss to his hand. "Yeah. I don't think wolves do well after such a long time without sleep. At least not mood wise. I Remember once when I was younger, chi was probably 14 and we stayed at Zizi's house when mama and papa were out." She murmured softly, words coming out slow as she felt sleep tug at her body. "We were playing or something, probably a little too loud and suddenly zizi was chasing is around the house, growling and snapping at us to let her sleep in peace and play outside. We thought it was the funniest thing in the world but also knew never to wake her up again." She laughed softly, eyes fluttering shut before she shook her self awake.

Min lays comfortably in her bed, watching her as she spoke and every now and again drifting to sleep and snapping herself out of it. Which Min found quit amusing. Along with her stories.
He loved her voice as much as he did her warm embrace and her soft kisses against his skin, able to lay here with her for years upon themselves.
As her story went on, he tried to imagine a small Chire. Though Min-Hyuk didn't have the best imagination and lacked a good bit of creativity. Which led to an unsettling image of a pup with Chires adult human face plastered on the head.
Which sent an unnerving shiver down his spine, wanting the thought to be gone at once.
He smiles "Vampires aren't too good with that either. Mood wise…." He pauses, thinking "oh maybe that's why I'm such a prick" he mumbles, genuinely curious as to if that was why. Then thinking of Cassius, seemingly having a perfect tempted and such a kind personality.
Min eventually settles on the fact that he was like that since he was little.
Min-Hyuks thumb runs along her cheek and down to her bottom lip before kissing her cupids bow "get some sleep my love." He says in a soft whisper

She huffed a breath through her nose, "you're not a prick. At least not all the time." He mumbled with a small grin. She closed her eyes as he touched her face, leaning heaving into soft kiss. "You're sure you'll be alright?" She asked, pressing her face into the crook of his neck and wrapping her arms around his waist, hands resting on his back. "I love you." She said softly, slowly evening out her breath until she had fallen into a deep sleep

"Im always alright." He whispers, his fingers running gently though her hair as she fell asleep. He gives a soft, content smile before closing his own eyes, though making sure he didn't fall asleep.
Though with how the past few weeks had been, he couldn't help but drift to sleep even if it were for a few hours.

Val had never really considered herself as a restless sleeper nor could she really say she struggled with getting to sleep but she had always noticed how light of sleeper she was. She knew there was nothing to be afraid of in her Brother's territory but ever since they had lost their mother, Val had always found herself always focused on everysound, even in sleep, never wanting to be caught so vulnerable. The only time she found herself in a deep sleep was when she slept among her family and pack members.
So it was surprising for her when she awoke near mid morning quite well rested, something she couldn't have said for herself often. She breathed in a deep sigh and snuggled up closer to the vampire beside her, never wanting to leave the bed. She slowly took in Min's appearance, having never actually seen him sleep before. She smiled softly, not daring to even breath too much for fear of waking him up.

When Min-Hyuk had been human for the first 17 years of his life, he was diagnosed with insomnia among countless other things. So even before this he had never gotten enough sleep. And even when he would, it was never good, waking up every five minutes and having to do something.
After falling asleep with Val, it only lasted for a few minutes before he woke up once again. Though to his surprise he didn't have a single mental breakdown throughout the night. Though shedding an occasional tear.
Min had managed to fall asleep around 5am, nightmares flooding his mind as he slept.
He felt the slightest bit of movement and he forced himself to jolt awake(with great struggle)
Once able to move his body, he takes a soft yet sudden breath in, not realizing Val was awake
(He's definitely one of those people that wake up like a frikin mom. Ya know how they just JOLT awake XD)

Val glanced up at min, slowly sitting up slightly so that she could let him move around better. "Hey, morning sleepy head." She murmured softly, pulling away fully to shift into a wolf before settling back down beside him and resting her head against his chest. She huffed softly and pressed her snoot against his chin, giving it a little lick. Her tail wagging back and forth lazily as she watched him with golden eyes. She'd occasionally flick her gaze to the window or door, hearing the slightest of movements from the forest or from her brother awakening downstairs

Min lets out the breath he had accidentally held in for a bit too long, letting his chest fall quite a bit before he steadied his breathing.
He looks down at Val, his lips cracking open in the slightest to say something before she shifted into a wolf and licked his chin, taken by surprise.
Though it wasn't in a bad way.
He blinks slowly, turning on his side and wrapping an arm around her, his fingers lightly running over her soft coat and pressing a kiss to her head.
He keeps his eyes closed for a few moments, not wanting to get up but not wanting to fall back asleep.
"How'd you sleep?" He eventually asks, his voice lower than usual and unsettlingly scratchy in a way that might honestly make you concerned for his health. Of which he had been informed of by his sister and best friend multiple times that it was a bit creepy. So was plenty aware of it, causing him to not talk a lot when he had just woken up.
Val let out a small awoo as Min ran his hands through her fur, welcoming the gentle touch. Her ears flicked up when Min spoke, cocking her head head slightly to the side before pressed her nose to Min's throat. She huffed a small breath and shifted back to normal. "Pretty good actually, better than normal." She replied softly, scooting up in a sitting position and stretching her back and arms. "How about you?" She asked softly, brows turning up slightly in concern

Min kept his eyes closed the entire time, still resting. Though he didn't expect her to actually shift back.
When she sat up his arm fell so his own side, pulling the blanket over his shoulder a bit more.
"I slept just fine" he lies, not wanting to ruin a sweet moment.
He took her hand and brought it to his lips, lacing his finger between hers.

Val narrowed her eyes at min, watching him carefully over hershoulder for a few moments before reluctantly settling back down beside him.
A light blush rose to her cheeks as he took her hand and pressed it to his lips, leaving a soothing cool spot on her skin. "I could get used to this." She murmured, her free hand toying with pieces of Min's hair. "So fluffy." She teased lightly, patting down min's hair and watching it immediately poof up when he lifted her hand

Min smiles softly, giving her handa small squeeze before lazily opening his eyes to look at her, the early morning light hitting his eyes in a rather painful way but he chose to ignore it, able to see Val through his blurred vision. A sort of ringed light surrounding her.
It may have just been the sun in his eyes, reflecting the golden light off of them. But to him, Val looked like an angel in that moment.
Which was saying a lot coming from an atheist. Whether he believed in angels or not, this one made him speechless.
He blinks for a few times, his mind taking a second to register her words.
"It's because it was basically airdried" he says, his other hand going up to his hair and feeling it as well. It was a poofy mess and a little tangled as if it were blow dried.
"And you'd better get used to it because it doesn't look like I'm going anywhere" he says, putting his hand on her waist.
"it's cute." She grinned and gently massaged his scalp as she ran her hands through his hair. She let out a laugh, breath mingling as she leaned in close. "I wouldn't want you to be anywhere else, dear." She murmured, brushing a light kiss to his lips. "So you're just gonna stay in bed all day? Not that I'm complaining at all," but food is pretty tempting right now." She laughed again and rested he Rhea's against Min's shoulder. "We can go to Cas's house if you're hungry or something." She offered, tilting her head to look up at him.

Min leans into her lips, kissing her with a small smile. Though not expecting her to pull away.
"Hm…" He thought to himself "staying in bed with you all day. Closest thing I'm gonna get to heaven if you ask me" he says.
Min-Hyuk looks down at her "it's okay. I know you don't like him very much anyway " he kisses her forehead "you can go eat though if you'd like" he says as he sits up just a little, his elbow propping him up on the bed.
Val bit her lip "it's not that I don't like him. Its just a bit akward knowing that vampire has been living that close to the territory all this time without us knowing." She shrugged, trying her best not to be too concerned. "But he seems to care a lot about you and he hasn't done anything wrong while staying close to the territory. As long as those two things remain constant, then I have no qualms with him." She said, finally looking up at Min.she silently hated herself for still having doubts about Cassius, despite not doing anything wrong but there was still something off about him that Val didn't like. But she kept that to herself, not wanting for Min to feel uneasy about one of the only individuals who he could trust just for her sake

Min nods "yeah I understand that part. If I hadn't known him before I got turned, I would have hated him too. He's nice though. I know I don't know a ton about him but he's the closest thing I've had to a friend for years. Even before i…well.became this" he says, a little disgusted with himself. He obviously didn't like the fact that he was a vampire. But he didn't show it as much as he felt it.
"Here you can go eat though. I dont have to for a at least a few more days" he lies. The last dose he got from Cass hadn't been a ton. It wouldnt last him the next few days but he knew Val didn't prefer him around. So he'd go when she was busy with something else.
He knew Cass was a bit dangerous to himself and others. That's why the only people he works with are already dead people. Be it literal corpses at the morgue or vampires like himself.
Though at the same time, the last thing Cass had texted him was "what's a wifi password? Why do I need it to call you?"
So Min couldn't help but to see him as harmless in some sort of weird way.
She watched him for a few moments before propping herself up on her elbow and a pillow to be somewhat closer in height to him. She lightly brushed a hand along his cheek. "This is the one I fell in love with. This is the one, who not months ago threatened my life while at the same time made me fall in love with someone I thought I hated for most of my life. I wouldn't change that for anything. But I get that it's not that easy, at least not for you or your family, and I get that it's hard to see yourself as someone other than a monster sometimes. But you know I wouldn't care if you were a Vampire, or a human or a wolf. Just as long as you don't change what really matters." She pulled him.in close by the collar if his shirt and pressed a rough kiss to his lips, drawing it out much longer than the rest of their shirt kisses.

The way she was able to know exactly what to say astounded him, though not surprising him in the least bit. She had always been so much better with words than he was. At least in his eyes.
Though the thing that did take him by surprise was the rough kiss. But he wasn't complaining.
He presses his cold lips to hers, closing his eyes as his hand pulled her waist in, kissing her back with the same "enthusiasm" as she.
