Cas looked up as well, clinging tightly to River.

“Well, we have Chinese food because we didn’t know what you liked we decided to get almost everything for Cas to try. If you don’t want to that’s fine too,” his mom giggled a little bit. “After you eat how about you two go and find somewhere to play with the twins?” River mom took some food setting it on her plate.
"Thank you, ma'am." Cas dipped his head politely, his stomach growling at the sight of food. He really didn't eat enough at home, so a parental figure giving him food was a pretty weird experience.
River gave Cas a plate and whispered, “Don’t be shy.” River took a plate of fried rice and started eating with joy.
Cas got a little bit of everything to try, figuring he shouldn't get a lot of anything until he knew he liked it.
River danced around in his chair and took some white rice mixing it in with the fried rice. “Father, Mother, Twins, thank you!”
Cas smiled a bit at River's excitement and thanked them as well, though he stayed still where he was sitting. He eventually decided his favorite thing and got a bit more of that.
River finished in no time. He put the plate in the garbage.
“Now we can go play right!” The twins who were running around yelled.
“Before that, I have a present for both of you. River is due for an update and I Cas has to contact me some how so….an iPhone 11 pro for both of you,” River’s mom smiled handing River a red one and Cas a blue one.
"W-What?" Cas held the phone as if it were going to break at any moment, looking up at River's parents with a bewildered expression. "Are… are you sure? I-I really don't deserve this…"
“You do and we also got your father to a mental hospital. We found out that your father has a condition and hasn’t been taking his meds to help him with that. So, he’s in the hospital now. We clean out your house of any alcohol and trash, We got rid of the smell, the walls are fixed and painted, and everything is new in there like a modern home, and got new furniture and flooring. The only thing we left the same was the furniture in your room, we figured you might want some stuff in there. We also found a cat hiding in the closet. He is home with us right now. We also left family photos and things we found that might be valuable to you in your room. So, do you want to go in there today or tomorrow to get your stuff?” She asked. “Wow, that was a mouth full.
Cas was covering his mouth with one hand, tears starting to spill out of his wide eyes. Tears of shock and happiness, to be fair, but it was a little hard to tell. After a moment of standing in silence, he rushed forward and hugged River's parents, sobbing quietly.
They were surprised at first, but hugged back. “We’re right here and we’re not going anywhere okay?” The dad whispered.
“We want hugs too!” The twins hugged Cas and their parents, bring River too.
"Y-You guys are great." Cas coughed a bit, laughing weakly through his sobs. He tried to brush away his tears while the twins hugged him from behind. "I c… I c-can't tell you how much this means to me." He stammered to River's parents.
"It's okay, dear, you don't have to we already know," RIver's mom kissed Cas's forehead wiping away his tears. Now, go have fun. We can talk about this when we get back today," she smiled.
RIver stood up with one twin on his back and the other on his leg. "Wanna take one," he chuckled.
"S-Sure." Cas took one twin by the hand and kept trying to brush his tears away as they walked. He was just following River since he was focusing on composing himself.
"Why are you crying? Are they happy tears or sad tears," she asked squeezing his hand.
"They're happy, d-don't worry." Cas smiled weakly, looking down at her. He didn't have to look down much, honestly, but he was still taller.
"Yay!" she cheered skipping. "We're here!" she let go of Cas's hand jumping into the grass.
River walked over to Cas giving him a peck on the cheek. "Hey there."
"Hey…" Cas hugged River tightly and kissed him, slightly drained from crying.
He rocked Cas back and forth. "Let's get your phone set up while the twins are playing, alright?" he asked pointing to his back pocket.
Cas nodded and handed the phone to River. "I honestly have no clue how to do this…" He sat down with the other. "I've never had a phone before."
"I'll just have to teach you then. "I'll have your account be mine s we have the same Apple ID. I have to transfer my data when we get back," he filled out a couple of things and taught Cas what Face ID is along with making his own. "There you are now you can download any apps just check with my mom first before downloading anything that needs money." River also taught Cas about the apps and how to close apps and open apps.
Cas listened closely, occasionally asking River to show him something again if he didn't understand. After a little while of this, he seemed to at least have the basics down. He sent River a couple sample texts as well to make sure it worked and that he knew how to do it.
River got the text and answered with a thumbs up. River stood up and placed his phone on the ground. "Come on!" he said reaching out his hand
Cas took his hand with a smile, carefully placing his phone with River's. "What're we doing?"
"Rolling down the hill," he smiled and pulled Cas down as they tumbled.
"Woah!" Cas was forced to let go of River as they fell, seeming quite disoriented and disheveled by the time they reached the bottom.
River rolled over Cas and started to laugh. "I love doing that!"
"I'm dizzy…" He said quietly, holding his spinning head with one hand.
"Your eyesight will come back in a minute, just let it sit for a minute or two.
