"So, I heard you wanted to kill the queen..." // O/O // Open

The immortal Queen Nerium Avenel has ruled over the country of Nyrx for the last 150 or so years with a heavy hand and a cold heart. Most of her subjects are barely scraping by, while the queen holds lavish balls and feasts at least once a week at her fortress in the center of the capital city. As winter draws nearer, many people are losing hope– including Alex's family. With food and money growing scarcer every day, Alex decides to try and to kill Queen Avenel– they have nothing to lose. The only problem is, Alex has no idea how they're going to survive the trek into the deadly Everlasting Woods, where the Mortum Blade, the only thing that could kill the immortal queen, is hidden. Fortunately for them, that stranger in the corner of the bar seems to know a lot about the Everlasting Woods and the Mortum Blade…

Rules/Things to know:

• So, basically, you would be Alex– the name is just a placeholder, so feel free to replace it with your own character– and I would be the stranger.
• The world this is set in has magic, so your character can have magic. Please don't have any OP characters, though.
• Try and keep the story going, and keep your one-liners to a minimum. It's fine if you have a few, just please don't do them every single time.
• Please ask before you join!
• You can use a premade character or make one up, but I'm thinking we simply go in blind, with maybe a simple understanding of what the characters look like.
• If you have any questions about anything, just ask!

(Yeah, sure, that would be great! As for the January 6th thing, that's totally okay. If you have the time, could you post a simple description of Elliot's appearance? I'll do the same for my child at some point. :)

(No, I think that will work to start us off! My child is named Luci. She's 5'7", with dark green eyes and wavy hair that was dyed red a while back. She has some control over fire, meaning she can create it and control it and usually never gets cold.)

Luci glanced around her quickly before pulling a thin, handmade book from inside her jacket and setting it on the table. The bar was quiet and nearly epmty– perfect for the illegal reading she was going to be doing. She opened the book and squinted at the text, which was nearly unreadable in the dim light. Great. After a short pause and a deep breath, Luci pulled an unlit candle towards her and flicked her fingers at it. A flame flickered into existence and Luci looked back at the text. Well, the attention would be drawn to her more now because of the candle, but at least she could read it.
