What is S.I.C, you ask? It's a partnering corporation for sidekicks, matching them with the perfect hero. Life is made easy as these kids are taught how to hone their skills and become great partners for their Super-counterparts. It's all so hunky-dory! But what happens when a group of teens like us decide they don't want to be the #2s anymore? The Corporation does not like defiance but that's exactly what we're dishing up! Now, are you ready to thwart the system? Are ready to be the biggest, baddest heroes the world has ever seen?

Appearance: Mre has pale skin, underneath his skin, there are dark shadows that move beneath the skin, mostly when he's nervous. HIs eyes are bright green and contrast his skin, they are large and his pupils are the main feature of it, them taking over almost all of his iris. He is tall, almost unnaturally so, his arms are long and his hands are small and quick.
General Attire: Mre often wears dark and loose clothing, where his family is from that is the attire that they wear. However, he will occasionally wear yellow sweaters, most people think that this color has some sort of semblance to him.
History (optional): His family are refugees of a war that happened in his home country, a small place that used to be rich with culture but is now nothing but rubble.
Powers/Abilities: Mre can expel the shadows under his skin and if the shadows touch someone, they latch on and can make the person feel/see what Mre wants him to see.
Personality: Mre has a strange personality, it's all up to you what you think it is. To some people, he seems threating and to others, he's the shyest person you'll ever meet.

“The time is now 2 p.m. It’s time to get to your activities and discussion groups! Please be prompt, and remember to say a warm “Happy Birthday’ to Coach Reedman today. Enjoy your day, Supers!”

The com system fell silent, the chipper voice of an overpaid secretary finally fading into oblivion until the next hourly announcement. Six teens sat in small conference room. An electronic table top was in the center of the room. Black walls covered them on either side, each opaque on one side but made for observation on the other. “For a sense of privacy…” Their counselor, Benjamin Tyler, had told them. With a clap of his hands, he brought a smile onto his face and started right in on his words.

“Alright you six, today is Assessment Day!” He waited for some smiled or cheers, but got no. It didn’t dent his glee in the slightest though. “Today, you will each look at your achievements and improvement areas and choose a buddy to help you accomplish some new things this week! Isn’t that exciting? For one whole week, you’ll be combining trainers and activities. Now, let’s get to it!”

Transparent screens came up before each teen, awaking to bright light with all of their information on it, each according to the child. Mr.Tyler inspected each screen, smile never ceasing, before giving his nod of approval and heading for the door. As soon as he was gone, Mae gave a sigh.

“Well…this whomps…”

Morgan leaned back in her chair, looking somewhat miffed. She hated her 'official recruitment' photo with a passion and now it was blazing up for everyone to see. She wondered idly if she focused hard enough, she could erase it from existence. Frowning, Morgan stared at the screen, mentally envisioning the photo disappearing from the data banks of the corporation.
A girl to her left spoke, breaking her concentration. She had to agree that the situation was nothing but 'whomps', but she only smiled and adjusted her leather gloves. "Were you expecting any different?"

Evan was busy admiring his own official photo. That had been a good hair day for him, and he mimicked his smile in the picture, charming (at least Evan thought so) and with dimples. This was, as far as he was concerned, his best mandatory photo yet. He was so lost in his thoughts (and admiring his picture) that he almost didn’t hear a girl across from him speak. Then after the second girl replied, Evan finally tore his eyes from the photo.

“This place is so predictable,” Evan chimed in, adding his opinion whether the others wanted to hear it or not. He smirked as if he had told a joke, meant only for the others to hear.

Mre tapped his fingers on his arm, he was listening to the others, but he didn't want to speak just yet. He needed to analyze everyone's personality first, he didn't know these people so he wanted to make a good impression. After a few moments of looking at the others in the room, he spoke. "This place is… Extremely… Unneeded." He chose his words carefully, not wishing to offend anyone with saying something stupid.
