Aella nodded slightly. "Well, if we can find a decent one, it could definitely work." She said, toying with one of the bones she picked up. "The question is just where to find one."

Roux hummed in agreeance but quirked an eyebrow at Aella's statement. "Actually, I think the real question is how you guys are planning on getting it in here. Skies know how Nathan managed to carry a desk in," he commented, before quickly shaking his head. "Wait, that's not the point. The point I was trying to make is, without a table, I can't dramatically unfurl this cool map I found!"
He reached in a pocket on the inside of his thin cloak and pulled out a rolled-up sheet of paper, wings ruffled with excitement. He hurried back over to his two friends, half-falling, half-kneeling to show them as he tried to spread it out. The corners kept curling inwards, and he exasperatedly set a few candles on the edges so they would stay in place.
"I think it belonged to the guard at some point," he explained enthusiastically, hand hovering over the detailed ink representation of Cradle before apparently spotting what he was trying to find. Stealing Nathan's idea, he grabbed one of the leftover glass pieces and held it over the map, frowning slightly when it turned the image upside down. After a brief moment of thought, he grabbed another one and stacked it, holding the edges firmly to keep them from slipping off due to the curves. It really did magnify the image, and he took a second to send an appreciative, slightly awe-filled look at Nathan's cleverness before gesturing to the map again.
"I found this in a trunk of my dad's things. I think we're here, but notice how the area right here is completely blank?" he asked, tapping the places he was referring to.
"I brought it piece by piece of the course of 2 weeks and fixed it here. I'm grateful that the master let me purchase a large bag to carry with me when I got out." He said proudly, responding to Roux's question. While listening to what he was saying, Nathan un furled his wings and plucked out some loose feathers that were irritating and itching him.
"I see that, what is it?" He asked, leaning over the map to look closely at the section Roux was pointing to. "Also, are you allowed to go through your dad's things?"
