(Thanks for letting me join! Do you have any specific ideas for the plot? I'd like a bit more information so I know what kind of character I'll be playing.)

(Well this could go a couple different ways. I was thinking it would either have the plot of someone working for law enforcement that was assigned to the characters case, or the character approaches another about a new target (he kills men who abuse women/children, so he finds targets on registries and usually approaches the person who was abused and offers his help)
(Alright, both of those sound pretty interesting. I feel like I'm leaning more towards the one where your character approached a new target because that will probably have more interaction between our characters.)
(But anyways, here's my character)
Name: Ilya Lukovitch
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Pan
Appearance: Small and petite with sharp features and pale blue eyes that constantly sparkle with whatever emotion he's feeling at the time. His skin is pale and constantly covered in bruises, usually splashed across his arms and legs, and has a web of scars crisscrossed into his back. His hair is jet black and short, with the sides shaved in a classy undercut.
Personality: Ilya is cheerful and bubbly, with a nearly unshakable smile and constant chatter. This often acts as a kind of armor for him, letting his positivity keep him from dwelling on the worst parts of his life. He's quite clever and has an almost foxy demeanor, sly and tricky and always engaged in some form of mischief. He tries to be open but has a skewed sense of honesty; often twisting the truth without even realizing what he's doing. Overall Ilya is bright and sweet, just trying his best to live a peaceful life.
Likes: riddles/puzzles, animals, baking, the outdoors, quiet places
Dislikes: politicians, law enforcement, liars/being lied to, his house, hospitals, sudden sounds/movements
Background/Bio (optional): A lot happens, so I'm going to hit the spark notes: Ilya is the son of a famous politician who would often beat him if he didn't do as he was told or meet his father's expectations. This abuse was a constant presence throughout his childhood and only worsened when his mother died a few weeks after his 11th birthday. He ran away from home at 17, falling into a whirlwind romance with an originally loving police officer named Damian. Sadly, the relationship quickly soured and Ilya found himself in another abusive situation- this time one he couldn't escape.

Name: Vaughn Finley.
Age: 21 years old.
Gender: Male.
Sexuality: Bisexual with no lean, more on the dominant side.
Appearance: His hair is an onyx black, being straight. It is slightly on the short side on the right side of his head, the other side being a bit more long (enough to where it brushes along his right brow at times). His eyes are on the thinner side, looking sharp and being a grey tone. His skin is generally pale, and he tends to burn easily. He has clean cut features. He stands at about 6’1 and has a decent amount of toned muscle. There is a tattoo on his upper right forearm, in black is the name ‘Adeline’ written in childlike handwriting. Spotted along his skin are various scars from past injuries during the jobs he works.
Personality: He tends to be more introverted and reserved. He seems to be all business most of the time. With his clients, he is extremely polite and helpful. He tries his best to be friendly with them, but it can get hard at times. He seems to most who meet him/hear about him on the news to be a cold hardened criminal with no feelings towards others. But to people he has gotten close to, they see past it to know that he is an extremely gentle and kind soul. He’s truly a tad shy and anxious most of the time, simply using his hardened exterior to hide the vulnerable aspects of him.
Likes: Things going according to plan, reassurance, his privacy, and listening to the radio.
Dislikes: Talking about his family, taking medication, law enforcement, and the voices.
Background/Bio (optional): This is the summarized version (more will be revealed throughout). When he was thirteen, his father Jack Finley brutally murdered both his mother Catherine Finley and his 8 year old sister Adeline Finley. He was left alive and when he woke up, he found the two bodies and the police were called. His father was sent to 50 years in prison, while he went to a foster home agency. Shortly after, Vaughn was diagnosed with schizophrenia, after telling a therapist that he broke his foster brothers arm “because the voices told him to”. Since then, he was in and out of foster homes, most not being able to handle him. When he was 18, he left the foster agency and was living on the streets. His childhood therapist, Manuel King, supplying him with the occasional fund to allow him to buy food for himself. He was 19 when he committed his first murder when the voices told him to find abusive men and kill them. Since then, he has killed 12 different men. His identity is unknown yet. Now, he lives at an abandoned gas station that is being funded by Manuel as a help (who supports his movement but doesn’t approve of it 100%).

Vaughn knew this was a risky business. He didn’t own a computer at where he lives at the gas station. Maybe Manuel would get him one. ’They are quite expensive,’ the voices whispered to him. That was true, they were right. He brushed his hand through his hair, typing in the link to the government registry in a private tab on the library computer. He needed to find a new person who had been at least accused of abuse. After scrolling, the whispers hissed for him to stop, and he listened. It was a police officer. A previous partner had accused him of abuse, but it never went through to court. He clicked his tongue and searched the man up on various social media accounts. The officer seemed to be in a relationship with another boy. ‘He’s pretty, isn’t he, Finley?’ the voices mused in question. The boyfriend was ‘pretty’ like the voices said, but that boy could be his next client. He couldn’t think that way. So, he looked the boy up instead on the social media’s. His name was Ilya. That was a nice name. He learned as much of the boy as he could from that, finding where he worked and where he seemed to hang out. He could find the male somewhere now. He stood up from the chair, closing all tabs. He smoothed our the clothes he was wearing- a white undershirt, a long sleeved white button down, a black pair of slacks, a black suit jacket that he left unbuttoned, and a pair of nice black dress shoes. He liked to be professional with his work. Now, he made his way out of the library to track down his client.
Ilya sat on a park bench, fiddling with his sleeves as he watched people pass by. The shirt was long-sleeved, of course- Damian didn't leave him enough unbruised skin for anything else. It stifled him in the nearly 90 degree heat but wearing it was better than seeing the pitying glances of strangers. He checked his watch, wincing at the time. Damian would be home soon, demanding a meal and a beer, and it was time for him to leave if he wanted to get through the interaction without having to dodge a fist. Still, the park was lovely today, all the flowers blooming in bright purples and reds, and Ilya couldn't bring himself to leave it.

The first place Vaughn went to was a nearby park. Ilya has a lot of photos of that place. It was thankfully a bit small, so it wouldn’t take him long to search it. He strode through the park, tugging at his collar. It was a very hot day, and there wasn’t much shade on the paths. After about 10 minutes of wandering around, he didn’t think he would fine Ilya. But then he spotted a smaller male on a nearby bench. A pretty male. It was him.
Ilya noticed Vaughn right away. The park wasn't in the nicest part of town and it was rare to see anyone so well-groomed roaming it's overgrown paths. It was rarer still for a person to notice Ilya, so when he looked up to get a better look at Vaughn's face he was surprised to make eye contact. His head tilted slightly to the side, an unconscious gesture of curiosity that Damian loathed, as he watched the man who was watching him. "Do I know you?" he asked quietly, tone soft and unassuming.

Ilya made eye contact with him. Vaughn didn’t respond at first. He wasn’t noticed quite often. Slowly, he made his way closer, not minding that his hair was falling across the right side of his forehead. “No, you don’t… not personally, at least,” he responded, his tone deep and a bit rough sounding. He said ‘not personally’ because he had been all over the news last week. ‘Unidentified serial killer is being named responsible for the death of Bailey Wright, recently released on bail for the spousal battery of his wife.’ He had broken into the home and stabbed the man at least 20 times. He lost count in the struggle. All he remembered was running back to the gas station feeling completely coated in blood that wasn’t his own.
"Impersonally then?" There was a wry twist to Ilya's smile as he asked the question. Vaughn didn't feel familiar, his face and voice foreign to Ilya, but he didn't seem threatening- at least, not overtly. That alone was enough to entertain a conversation with him. These days it seemed like the only things Ilya could talk to were Damian with his impossible to navigate moods and the endless army of friends he brought to the house, all with their hungry eyes and endless inescapable anger.

Vaughn clicked his tongue softly. “Something like that,” he responded. He attempted to make his posture seem as non threatening as possible. He wasn’t sure how threatening he came off to others in a normal setting. He knew he seemed dangerous to his victims, but he wasn’t sure besides that. Eventually, he reached right in front of the smaller male. Behind him, he could see a shadowy figure. It has no facial features, just a large grinning mouth with hundreds of gleaming fangs. He called it the figure. It was his main guide and leader of the voices. “Your name is Ilya, isn’t it?”
Ilya's eyes narrowed at the answer and the ensuing question, giving away his attempts to pinpoint Vaughn. He wasn't one of Damian's normal poker buddies, nor was he one of the revolving door of threatening men in high places Damian loved to threaten him with. It was a mystery, but not one Ilya cared much about solving. Anything not immediately threatening was put on the back burner of his life and Vaughn was one of the least threatening things he'd met all week. "It is. What's yours?"

Vaughn felt the urge to fidget as he stood there. He could tell how Ilyas was trying to figure him out. He planned on being open with him about his intentions during this talk. He needed to get everything out right away. “I’m Vaughn,” he responded levelly, shifting his weight on his heels. “You’re Officer Damian’s relationship partner, correct?”
Ilya struck 'poker buddy' off the list of things Vaughn could be as he spoke, lack of knowledge about his relationship dispelling him from the category. "Damian is my partner," Ilya replied, every inch of him tensing in distress at even the mention of his name. He was immediately reminded of how long he had been at the park- intimately aware of the fifteen-minute walk back to a house Damian would arrive at in 20.

Vaughn saw the way Ilya tensed. From that and the fact that he was wearing long sleeves, he knew this boy had suffered from abuse. “And are you aware that Officer Damian was accused of physical abuse by another partner a few years ago?” he asked, his head cocking to the side. The figure matched the motion, leaning over Ilya now. He wished he could tell it to go away, but that would make him look crazy.
Ilya laughed, a bit of tension bleeding into it as he shook his head. There was no way this stranger could know something nobody but Damian dared to suspect. He pulled unconsciously on his sleeves. "Damian is good to me." The lie was acrid on his tongue, but it burnt less than the sting of Damian's fists. It hurt less than the beating he'd get if the details of their relationship reached the public- not that they would with Damian's connections. "He says he loves me."

Vaughn shifted his weight again, humming lowly. “Is he now?” he asked, throwing another glance past Ilya to look at the figure. ’Go on,’ it urged him in a sharp whisper, it’s mouth unmoving. “If things were to be happening, I’d say I’m good at fixing problems like that. I know I’m very good. So good they’ve put me on the news a couple times before,” he rambled lowly, hands moving as he spoke, tilting his head back as he scratched at the nape his neck. He wondered how obvious he was being with who he was.
