Alaina looked up as she heard the same ping she’d been hearing for the past 4 years. She sighed as she looked at the two options her soulmate had to choose from
be late to internship because you followed a puppy

show up to work on time and get everyone’s coffee orders correct
“Please pick the second one…” she thought to herself as she brushed a strand of her blue hair from her face

Ava was startled awake by the ping that she should of been used to by now. She groggily sat up and stared at the choices. "Who doesn't want to pet a puppy? Life is short and internships suck anyways." She gumbled as she selected. She rolled back over to fall asleep. "I hope that's what they wanted."
That was when another fimilar ping went off.
Get out of bed and start the day with only 4 hours of sleep
Or
Go back to sleep for a few more hours
Ava let out a sigh as she watched what she soulmate would choose. "I hope I can go back to sleep."
She glanced up at the words above her head.
Soulmate has chosen: Be late to internship because you followed a puppy
She sighed and pursed her lips. “Great. Now I’m going to get yelled at. At least I can blame it on the 20 coffees I have to get…” she hummed, looking up at the words once more.
“Well…she may have just gotten me fired but I guess I can be nice. Plus it seems like they don’t get much sleep…” she hummed, selecting the more sleep option. “Hopefully that’ll help them have a nice day!” She grabbed her back as she noticed the puppy running past her apartment, carrying her own leash

Ava smiled as she saw that they selected the sleep option. "Thank you. I'll try to help you as much as I can." She whispered as she laid back down to sleep. It was only a few minutes until she passed out.
Now you may think she was lazy or sleeping in like this, but Ava worked the late shift at an engineering company and often got home around 1-2 a.m., which has caused her to shift to a more nocturnal way of life.
Alaina smiles as she followed the puppy before catching up to her, grabbing the leash as she watched the owner run over, panting.
"Here you go sir! I hope she doesn't cause more trouble!" She smiles as she walked silently to the coffee shop, ordering the 20 coffees and stumbling to her industry when she heard a ping

She smiles, keeping her balance as she walked into the meeting room, setting the coffees down. "Thank you soulmate…" She whispered to herself as she got ready to either choose for her soulmate or take notes. She hoped one day soon she could find her soulmate

Ava slept for a hour or two more before she got up. She got dressed, slipping her glasses on as she headed to her kitchen. She had just put the bread in the toaster when her phone rang.
"Ava Smith speaking."
"Hey Ava! It's David. I know it's your day off but do you think you could pop into the office for a few minutes. Sarah is sick today."
Ava was about to answer when the all too fimilar ping sounded.

She looked up at the choices above her head and hummed. "You've helped me I'll help you…" She whispered, easily choosing Tell Davjd to find someone else to go in as she listened intently to her boss talking about the lasest fashion show next week, and how she's putting an intern in charge and they could get a promotion. She looked up
Ask to be the intern in charg and get the promotion you've been dreaming of

stsy quiet and let the promotion go to the intern that came in a week after her initial start date

Ava smirked. "Sorry David. Maybe you can get Nate to go in. You know he loves overtime." She offered before hanging up.
She stared up at her two choices. "A promotion? Well good job!" She said as she selected Ask to be the intern in charg and get the promotion you've been dreaming of.
She looked up and pumped her fist slightly as she raised her hand. “Ma’am, could I be in charge of the show please?” She asked, humming with a smile as she was approved. “Thank you, soulmate…”
