Spencer snorted, turning away so they wouldn't see his amused expression.
Eliza huffed and walked away, going around the corner.

“So I would say ‘follow her’, except I don’t really trust her, so…. follow me!” Anya instructed. She guided the little girl to her dad and then led the way after Eliza.

Spencer chuckled under his breath before following after Anya. He caught a glimpse of an exasperated Eliza falling back to walk behind the other spy and the president.
Anya walked along the halls confidently. She had no qualms as to where she was going.

With Eliza now with them, the odd group now got fewer strange looks. The walked silently down a few halls, turning left, then right, and then right again.
Anya strode confidently. The exit was within sight.

They had almost reached the exit when Spencer suddenly remembered something. He leaned over to whisper to Anya, "Our vehicle is not exactly in driving condition, so what are we going to leave in?"
“I have it all worked out,” Anya said. She gestured to the garage, visible from the door she’d just opened. “We are going to borrow one.”

"Borrow? Or borrow without asking?" Spencer questioned, raising an eyebrow. "I'm pretty sure the second choice is illegal."
“We’ll probably bring it back,” Anya reasoned. “And if not, they’ll be more concerned about the president than a missing car.”

"Probably… Fine, fine. Yeah. You're probably right," Spencer acquiesced with a shrug.
“Plus, we can stop in a parking lot and switch out the license plates with another car,” Anya said. To Spencer’s look, she added, “We have to cover our tracks.”

Spencer narrowed his eyes slightly but nodded his head anyway.
"All right, fine. Whatever. You know better than I do," he admitted. "We should get going."
“Durrrrrr” Anya smirked. She stepped outside after Eliza.

Spencer blinked multiple times before helping the president and his daughter out. Why did girls have to be so confusing?
Anya sweapt the girl into her arms and ran for the garage. Eliza was right next to her, Spencer following closely behind.

Spencer checked back before shutting the door behind them. They couldn't have any one following them for this.
When they reached the vehicle, Spencer helped Anya get everyone inside.
“Hurry,” Anya urged the president and his daughter.

"I'll drive," Spencer declared, his voice holding no room for argument. He finished getting everyone in the van and jumped into the front seat.
“Ugh. Insufferable.” Anya rolled her eyes, but a happy feeling welled up in her throat. She stamped it down, sliding into the backseat.

Keys, keys, keys, keys, keys… C'mon, they've gotta have an extra one somewhere.
Soencer searched the glovebox, under the seat, and inside the seat. Nothing. He groaned.
"I'll have to jump it," he mumbled under his breath.

“Um. Keys are right there.” Anya pointed to the ignition. “Ready to go.”

Spencer banged his head against the steering wheel.
Such an idiot. Didn't even think to look there…
He muttered at himself as he started the vehicle up.
“Don’t pout. It’s okay,” Anya said, trying to be soothing. “Just go. And hurry.”

Spencer nodded once. "Everyone buckled?" he asked, continuing without waiting for an answer, "Good. Let's go."
He drove out of the garage, making sure to seem unsuspicious.
Anya sat back in her seat, feigning relaxation, but her eyes took in everything and she remained alert.

Once they were safely out, Spencer glanced back in the rear view mirror. His jaw clenched and his hands gripped the wheel tightly. There was a chance they were being followed.
“Not again,” Anya muttered, peering into the rear view mirror. “We’ve got to shake them. And less aggressively than last time.”
