“Sure,” Anya scoffed. “I can practically hear your ego growing. Well, news flash: it’s gonna deflate pretty quickly.” She sat down at an empty table for 2.
Spies One-On-One (Closed)
(I love her attitude. Lol.)
Spencer laughed as he sat down in across from Anya.
"We'll see. We've got ten pizzas each coming out, whoever eats the most of it finishes their pizzas first, wins."
“Ten?!” Anya exclaimed, forgetting her attitude. “I mean… you should’ve gotten twenty.”
Spencer laughed. "Gosh, you're great…"
“I know right,” Anya smirked, leaning forwards, twirling her rose in her hand.
Spencer rolled his eyes, still smiling at Anya. "Modest much?"
“Very,” Anya laughed, sitting back in her chair.
(Skipping.)
The pizzas finally arrived, and a waiter stood by to referee the contest.
"You ready, dear?" Spencer asked, smirking.
“Darling,” Anya drawled, “I was born ready.”
"Hm. Well, let's begin, then," Spencer declared, nodding at the waiter.
(Who should win this?)
//mE
:P
Up to you
Anya waited, her heart doing laps around her chest. She knew this feeling, and she knew how to embrace it, to let it envelop her and mingle with her blood, becoming the force that powered her body. “This is gonna be fun.”
(Hm…)
Spencer laughed as the first pizzas were set in front of them.
A half an hour later, Spencer had eaten nine and a half pizzas and Anya had eaten eight. With a groan, Spencer leaned back and stuffed another slice into his mouth.
//XD
Anya was exhausted. She was always hungry, though, so she managed another three slices on top of Spencer’s extra two, which did not put her in the lead, but still.
"Do you give up yet?" Spencer asked, stuffing another slice into his mouth.
“Nope,” Anya insisted, eating another two. “I will beat you.”
Spencer snorted as he finished his pizza. "Too late. That was my tenth."
“Ugh. Try-hard,” Anya mumbled, finishing her ninth.
"Hey, if it helps any, I'm probably going to explode later," Spencer laughed softly.
“But I don’t want you to explode,” Anya complained, smiling. “I do apologize in advance for beating you, though….” She was three quarters of the way through her 9th pizza.
"You don't have to finish that, you know. I already won," Spencer pointed out.
“Okay, fine. But I’m still hungry, so…” She smirked and finished her last slice. “Honorable Mention.”
Spencer laughed. "We just ate ten pizzas each. I think we may have a problem."
“We might,” Anya agreed. “But it’s a good problem. I think.” She smiled. “So. What now?”
"Well… Are you up for walking some more?" Spencer asked. He stood and offered Anya his hand, smiling down at her.
“Of course,” Anya agreed, lacing her fingers through his and following him out the door.
Spencer gently squeezed her hand and smiled at her as they walked out
"There's a park nearby, just a little one with a path through some trees and a few benches lining the way. It's pretty cute, and I kinda thought you might like it," he said, rubbing the back of his neck.
Anya smiled. “It sounds perfect.” She stood on her tiptoes and kissed his cheek.
Spencer felt heat rise to his face as Anya kissed his cheek, and he grinned over at her.
"I hope so. I've been trying to figure out what to do for this date since I asked you out," he admitted with a slight laugh.
//WHAT IS THEIR SHIP NAME
Anya smiled. “It’s perfect. Pizza and a walk in the park. What’s not to love?”
