Staring Eyes and Frozen Touches (O/O Nah she closed)

Teylie woke up suddenly at three, her eyes snapped open and she looked at Felix, remembering what she was out here doing.

Felix had moved. Slightly. It was only intelligible if you were on alert and were looking for it. His head had moved up slightly to the edge of the cracked roofing of the corner store.

Teylie studied Felix carefully, intently.She looked to see if his hands had moved or anything else, sighing when she didn't see anything. She stood up and let her blankets fall in a ball, walking over to Felix to see exactly where he was looking.

His gaze and his head was tilted up slightly. It was clear, now that she was standing in front of him and looking for it.

Teylie's face lit up "You moved!" She jumped happily and clapped her hands, "Your head moved! You aren't a statue!"

Felix didn’t say anything to her. He stared up at the roof, his eyes glazed and blank.

She gave him a hug, barely containing her joy. "My brother is going to help me unfreeze you Felix," She said happily "And then you can go on with your life, doing whatever you want."

Felix stayed frozen in his place. He didn’t hug her back or even move when she collapsed her weight onto him. But he was warm. She could feel a pulse (very dim) in his neck and a meek heartbeat.

Teylie gasped, feeling a faint heartbeat. She placed a hand on his chest to make sure it wasn't her own heartbeat and she smiled when it wasn't "You have a heartbeat! You're-you're warm!"

Felix didn’t say anything. His eyes were glued upward, his mouth slightly open as he gazed up, apparently transfixed.

Teylie backed away a few steps, keeping a hand on his shoulder as she tried to see where he was looking this time.

That roof of the corner store. This time, it wasn't special. Just a roof.

She smiled and sighed "Well, as much as I want to stay up and make sure you are still alive, I should probably get some sleep before my brother gets here.."

Teylie walked out of her house again after bringing in her blankets and pillow from last night. She ruffled her still we hair and straightened her shirt out, waiting for her brother to arive.

It took Tyler a few hours but he had arrived to her new town. It was plesant and happy, especially today. He parked nearby and jogged up, grinning.
“Hey Tey! Is this the dude you were talking about?”

Teylie gave her brother a bear hug before nodding "Yeah, this is Felix," she smiled happily and touched Felix's shoulder lightly.
