Colden stood in line and raised his hand when they asked for single riders he got into the cart next to some girl and it went off. About 2 minutes into the ride everything stopped. Nothing moved and it was deathly silent.
Harper sighed, "I hate this. Heights."

"Well, I hate the dark…"Colden replied quietly.
"Harper Jones. You?" She asked looking at the boy.

"Colden Helsner." He replied looking at her.
She had to admit, the boy was cute, "Why are you doing this alone?"

"Because my friends ran off, probably to make out… What about you." He replied looking at her. In this lighting she looked pretty cute.
"My boyfriend ditched me for my best friend…so i came to have fun." She sighed, "Sounds like a great day for the both of us."

"Yeah, I guess it is. Especially with this ride breaking down on us now." He said smiling.
"If it didn't then we wouldn't have met." She says and smiles back.

"Exactly. Though pretty bad luck with the ride." He said looking around a bit.
"It's a pretty view though. Although it does suck we are stuck up here."

"Yeah, um if we fell, potentially. We would die."
"Oh well. We should change the subject."

"Yeah, probably. So what do you do for a living?"
"I work for my dad's computer business. But currently I'm in med school for being a midwife." Harper says and looks at Colden, "You?"

"I work at a coffee shop, but am a student at a university nearby. I'm majoring english."
"Oh cool. RockWood University?" She asks.

"Yeah, that one." He replied.
"I go there too. It's a pretty cool university." Harper says, "English sounds fun. What exactly are you doing for it?'
